3. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your AK23 Air Quality Monitor:

1. Unboxing: Carefully remove the monitor and all accessories from the packaging.
2. Protective Film: Before first use, gently remove the protective film from the screen.
3. Charging: Connect the provided USB charging cable to the USB Type-C port on the monitor and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status. A full charge provides up to 8 hours of operation.
4. Power On: Long press the power button (usually located on the top or side) to turn the device on.

4. Operating Instructions

The AK23 monitor features an intuitive display and simple controls for easy operation.

4.1 Display Interpretation

The high-resolution color screen displays all measured parameters independently. Each value is color-coded for quick assessment:

• Green: Good air quality.
• Yellow: Moderate air quality, caution advised.
• Red: Poor air quality, immediate action recommended.

The AQI (Air Quality Index) is represented by a bar at the bottom of the screen, changing color and indicating the overall air quality level.

4.2 Button Functions

The device features four control buttons, typically located on the top panel:

• Power Button: Long press to turn on or off.
• Calibration Button: Press and hold for 4 seconds while powered off. Wait 10-15 seconds after hearing the beep to complete calibration.
• Buzzer Control: Click the sound button to turn the buzzer on or off.
• Brightness Adjustment: Click the light bulb button to cycle through brightness levels.
• Time Calibration: Click to toggle between "AM" and "PM". Press and hold to enter "hour" and "minute" calibration. Use the up/down buttons (if available, or cycle through options) to adjust.
• Temperature Unit Switch: Briefly press the power button while the device is on to switch between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C).

4.3 Buzzer Alarm

The built-in buzzer will sound when any monitored air quality level reaches a dangerous threshold. You can manually turn off the buzzer by pressing the dedicated sound button to avoid disturbance.
