Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for secure hardware-mounted installation:
- Measure and Plan: Before installation, measure your opening to ensure it is between 29.5 and 43 inches wide. Identify suitable mounting surfaces (wooden, concrete, or brick walls).
- Position the Gate: Place the gate frame in the desired opening. Ensure the gate is level and centered. The gate may appear to have a gap at the latch side before installation; this is normal and will close upon tightening.
- Mark Drilling Points: Hold the gate firmly against the wall. Use a pencil to mark the vertical rod holes where the mounting brackets will be installed. Ensure the upper and lower drilling positions are on the same vertical plane.
- Drill Holes: Using an appropriate drill bit for your wall type, drill pilot holes at the marked positions. Insert wall anchors (F) if installing into concrete or brick.
- Install Vertical Rods: Attach the support bars (A) to the wall using the screws (E).
- Connect Gate Frame: Connect the main gate frame (B) to the installed support bars.
- Adjust and Secure: Use the hexagonal wrench (C) to adjust the width of the gate by turning the adjustment screws. Ensure the gate fits snugly and the latch mechanism aligns properly. Tighten all screws securely.
- Remove Setup Tie: If a tie was used to hold the gate together during setup, cut and remove it carefully after installation is complete.

Operating Instructions
Opening the Gate:
The gate features a double-lock design for enhanced safety and one-handed operation.
- Press: Locate the button on the top of the latch mechanism. Press this button down.
- Lift: While holding the button down, lift the gate handle upwards.
- Open: Swing the gate open in either direction (180-degree dual-swing).

Closing the Gate:
- Auto-Close: If the gate is opened less than 90 degrees, it will automatically swing shut and latch securely.
- Manual Close: If the gate is opened past 90 degrees, gently push it until it swings back and latches.
- Stay-Open Feature: The gate will remain open at a 90-degree angle, allowing for continuous passage when needed.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the gate regularly with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
- Inspection: Periodically check all mounting hardware, screws, and latch mechanisms to ensure they are secure and functioning correctly. Tighten any loose screws.
- Lubrication: If the gate hinges become stiff, apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to ensure smooth operation.
Troubleshooting
- Gate does not close automatically:
Ensure the gate is installed correctly and is level. Check that the mounting brackets are securely fastened and the gate is not obstructed. The auto-close feature activates when the gate is opened less than 90 degrees.
- Gate feels loose or wobbly:
Re-check all screws and wall anchors for tightness. Ensure the gate's width adjustment is set correctly for your opening and that the gate is firmly mounted to a suitable wall type.
- Difficulty opening the latch:
Ensure you are pressing the button and lifting the handle simultaneously. If the mechanism feels stiff, a small amount of lubricant may be applied to the moving parts.
