4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

The Dr. Senst DET-306 thermometer requires 2 AAA batteries, which are included with the device.

5.3 Taking a Measurement

  1. Ensure the probe cover is attached and the object mode is selected.
  2. Point the thermometer at the object whose temperature you wish to measure, approximately 1-3 cm (0.4-1.2 inches) away.
