2. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to correctly set up your KVM switch.

2.1 Connection Diagram

Each computer requires one DisplayPort cable, one HDMI cable, and one USB 3.0 cable to be connected to the KVM switch for full functionality (video and USB device recognition).

1. Connect your two monitors to the KVM switch's HD OUT A and DP OUT B ports.
2. For PC1, connect its DisplayPort output to the KVM's DP INPUT A1 and its HDMI output to HD INPUT B1.
3. For PC2, connect its DisplayPort output to the KVM's DP INPUT A2 and its HDMI output to HD INPUT B2.
4. Connect the included USB 3.0 cables from PC1 and PC2 to the respective USB 3.0 input ports on the KVM switch (labeled PC1 and PC2). This is crucial for keyboard, mouse, and other USB device recognition.
5. Connect your keyboard, mouse, printer, USB flash drive, or other USB 3.0 devices to the USB 3.0 ports on the front of the KVM switch.

7. Connect the wired remote controller to its dedicated port on the KVM switch.

3. Operating Instructions

The KVM switch is driver-free and plug-and-play. It offers multiple methods for switching between connected computers.

3.1 Switching Methods

• Physical Button: Press the 'SELECT' button on the front panel of the KVM switch to switch between PC1 and PC2.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, refer to the following common problems and solutions.

• No Display or Intermittent Display:
  • Ensure all HDMI and DisplayPort cables are securely connected to both the KVM switch and your computers/monitors.
  • Try power cycling the KVM switch (unplug and replug the power cable) if monitors are not registering.
  • If experiencing instability at 4K/144Hz or with variable refresh rates, try manually setting the refresh rate to 120Hz on your computer's display settings.
• USB Devices (Keyboard/Mouse/Peripherals) Not Recognized:

• Computer Does Not Wake from Sleep:
  • Some computers may not wake from sleep via KVM-connected keyboard/mouse. You may need to press the power button directly on the computer to wake it.
  • For MacBooks, if the monitor does not wake, try unplugging and replugging the USB to DisplayPort cable.
