1. Introduction

1.1 Product Overview

1.2 Compatibility

This tonneau cover is specifically engineered for the following truck models with a 5.8ft Fleetside bed:

• 2019-2024 Chevy Silverado 1500/2500HD/3500HD
• 2019-2024 GMC Sierra 1500/2500HD/3500HD

2. Parts List

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Before You Begin

• Ensure your truck bed rails are clean and free of debris.
• Unpack all components and lay them out to ensure nothing is missing.
• No drilling or special tools are required for installation; basic hand tools are included.

3.2 Installation Steps

1. Position Side Rails: Place the left and right side rails along the inside of your truck bed rails. Ensure they are flush and properly aligned with the bulkhead (front of the bed) and tailgate.
2. Attach Front Clamps: Secure the front of each side rail using the provided mounting clamps. Position the clamps firmly against the truck bed lip and tighten them with the included tool.
3. Install Tonneau Cover Assembly: Carefully place the rolled-up tonneau cover assembly onto the front of the side rails, aligning the front header with the bulkhead.
4. Secure Cover to Rails: Attach the tonneau cover assembly to the side rails using the integrated fastening system (e.g., screws or quick-release pins) at the front.
5. Attach Middle and Rear Clamps: Unroll the cover slightly to access the middle and rear sections of the side rails. Install the remaining mounting clamps evenly spaced along each side rail, ensuring a secure and tight fit.
6. Check Alignment and Tension: Once all clamps are tightened, unroll the cover completely and check for proper alignment and tension. The cover should be taut and flat across the truck bed. Adjust clamps as necessary.
7. Apply Weather Seals (if included): If separate weather seals are provided for the bulkhead or tailgate, apply them according to their specific instructions to enhance water resistance.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Opening the Tonneau Cover

1. Release Rear Latches: Locate the release latches at the rear corners of the tonneau cover, near the tailgate. Pull the release cords or levers to disengage the latches from the side rails.
2. Roll Up the Cover: Starting from the tailgate, carefully roll the tonneau cover towards the cab of the truck. Ensure the fabric rolls evenly and smoothly.
3. Secure Rolled Cover: Once fully rolled up, use the integrated securing straps located at the front of the cover to fasten it tightly against the cab. This prevents the cover from unrolling while driving.

4.2 Closing the Tonneau Cover

1. Release Securing Straps: Unfasten the securing straps that hold the cover in its rolled-up position.
2. Unroll the Cover: Gently unroll the tonneau cover towards the tailgate, ensuring it remains centered on the truck bed.
3. Engage Rear Latches: Once the cover reaches the tailgate, press down firmly on the rear corners to engage the latches with the side rails. Listen for a click to confirm they are securely locked.
4. Ensure Proper Seal: Check that the velcro or snap closures along the side rails are fully engaged and that the cover forms a tight seal around the entire truck bed. This ensures maximum weather protection.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

• Clean the tonneau cover regularly with mild soap and water.
• Use a soft brush or cloth to gently scrub away dirt and grime.

  • Ensure the cover is not misaligned on the rails. Adjust its position if needed.
  • In cold weather, the material may be stiffer. Allow it to warm slightly before operating.
• Cover Appears Loose or Sagging:
  • Re-tighten all mounting clamps along the side rails.
  • Check the tension rods (if applicable) to ensure they are properly engaged and providing adequate tension.
