1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

4. Assembly and Setup

The RPINT E14 Electric Bike requires some assembly. Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Unfolding the Bike: Carefully unfold the frame and handlebars. Ensure all locking mechanisms are engaged and secure.
  2. Handlebar Adjustment: Adjust the handlebar height to a comfortable riding position and secure it firmly.
  3. Seat Post Installation and Adjustment: Insert the seat post into the frame. Adjust the seat height to allow for a slight bend in your knee when the pedal is at its lowest point. Secure the quick-release lever.
  4. Pedal Installation: Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. Thread the pedals into the crank arms by hand, then tighten securely with a wrench. Note that the left pedal has a reverse thread.
  5. Battery Installation: Insert the battery into its compartment and ensure it is securely locked. Refer to the "Battery Operation and Charging" section for details.
  6. Pre-Ride Checks: Before your first ride, double-check all bolts, quick releases, and folding joints for tightness. Verify brake function and tire pressure.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Powering On/Off and Display

The bike is equipped with an LED display to show battery level and other information. Use the keyswitch to power the bike on or off.

5.2. Riding Modes

The RPINT E14 offers three distinct riding modes:

  • Pedal-Only Mode: Functions as a traditional bicycle without electric assistance.
  • Pedal Assist System (PAS) Mode: Provides electric motor assistance while you pedal. There are 3 adjustable levels of support. This mode offers a range of 12-18 miles per charge.
  • Pure Electric Mode (Throttle): Engages the motor via the throttle for fully electric propulsion without pedaling.

5.3. Battery Operation and Charging

The E14 is equipped with a 10 AH removable battery. It takes approximately 5-6 hours to fully recharge.

  • Charging: Connect the charger to the bike's charging port or remove the battery for off-bike charging. The charger indicator light will change when fully charged.
  • Removable Design: The battery can be easily removed for convenient charging at home or in the office.
  • First Charge: For optimal battery life, ensure the first charge is 4-5 hours.
  • Safety Features: The battery includes short-circuit protection, temperature protection, and over-voltage protection. It also features an anti-theft design with a key.

5.4. Controls and Lighting

The handlebars feature controls for lighting and gear selection.

  • Headlights: Activate the front headlights using the designated switch for visibility during night riding or in low-light conditions.

6. Maintenance

7. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your RPINT E14 Electric Bike.
