5.2 Starting the Engine

1. Place the trimmer on a flat, stable surface.
2. Ensure the spark plug cap is securely connected.
3. Set the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position.
4. Engage the choke lever (usually to the 'CLOSED' or 'START' position).
5. Press the primer bulb several times until fuel is visible in the return line.
