4. Setup and Installation

4.1. Wiring Diagram

Refer to the following diagram for correct wiring connections. Incorrect wiring can cause damage to the unit or vehicle.

4.2. Physical Installation

The Driauto 6286W is a standard 1-DIN size unit. Ensure your vehicle's dashboard opening is compatible (installation size: 178*50 mm). Secure the unit using the provided mounting hardware.

4.3. Backup Camera Installation

The included backup camera provides a 140° viewing angle with night vision and waterproof capabilities. Connect the camera's power cable (red wire) to the vehicle's reverse light power and the ground wire (black wire) to a chassis ground. Connect the video output cable from the camera to the 'CAMIN' input on the stereo unit. The system will automatically display the camera feed when the vehicle is shifted into reverse.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Power On/Off

Press the power button (usually a knob or dedicated button) to turn the unit on or off. The unit has a power-off memory function, retaining settings after being turned off.

5.2. Touch Screen Operation

Pair your smartphone via Bluetooth 5.2 for hands-free calling and wireless audio streaming. The enhanced Bluetooth chip provides stable and clear connections with noise reduction technology.

  1. Go to the Bluetooth menu on the stereo.

5.4. Wireless CarPlay / Android Auto

Connect your iPhone or Android smartphone to access apps, navigation, music, and voice control (Siri/Google Assistant) directly on the stereo screen.

  • Wireless Connection: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled and paired. Follow on-screen prompts to initiate CarPlay or Android Auto wirelessly.
  • Wired Connection: Connect your smartphone to the unit's USB port using a compatible USB cable. The system should automatically detect and launch CarPlay or Android Auto.

5.5. Mirror Link Function

Project your iPhone or Android phone's screen onto the stereo display.

  1. Connect your phone via Bluetooth or a USB cable to the radio jack.
  2. Select the Mirror Link option on the stereo.
