3. Setup Guide

3.1. Motherboard Preparation

Before installing any components, ensure your workspace is clean, well-lit, and static-free. Use an anti-static wrist strap if available. Handle the motherboard by its edges to avoid touching components.

3.2. CPU Installation (Intel Xeon E5-2666V3)

  1. Locate the LGA 2011-3 CPU socket on the motherboard.
  2. Gently push down the load lever and pull it away from the socket to open the CPU retention mechanism.
  3. Carefully align the Intel Xeon E5-2666V3 CPU with the socket. Ensure the gold triangle on the CPU matches the triangle on the socket. Do not force the CPU into place.
  4. Once the CPU is seated correctly, close the load plate and secure it by pushing the load lever back into its original position.
  5. Apply a thin, even layer of thermal paste to the top of the CPU.
  6. Install the CPU cooler according to its manufacturer's instructions.

3.3. RAM Installation (DDR4)

  1. Open the clips at both ends of the DDR4 memory slots.
  2. Align the notch on the DDR4 memory module with the key in the DIMM slot.
  3. Press down firmly on both ends of the memory module until the clips snap into place.
  4. For dual-channel performance, install memory modules in matching colored slots (if applicable) or as indicated in the motherboard layout.

3.4. M.2/NVME M.2 Storage Installation

  1. Locate the M.2 slots on the motherboard.
  2. Remove the M.2 standoff screw from the desired length position.
  3. Insert the M.2 SSD into the slot at a 30-degree angle.
  4. Gently push the M.2 SSD down and secure it with the standoff screw.

3.5. Graphics Card and Expansion Cards

  1. Locate the PCI Express X16 slot for your graphics card.
  2. Remove the corresponding expansion slot cover from your PC case.
  3. Align the graphics card with the slot and press down firmly until it is fully seated. The retention clip at the end of the slot should snap into place.
  4. Secure the graphics card to the case with a screw.
  5. Repeat for any PCI Express X1 expansion cards.

3.6. Power Supply Connections

  1. Connect the 24-pin ATX power connector from your power supply to the main power socket on the motherboard.
  2. Connect the 8-pin CPU power connector (EPS12V) from your power supply to the CPU power socket near the CPU.
  3. Connect SATA power cables to your SATA storage devices.

3.7. Connecting Peripherals and Front Panel

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. First Boot

  1. After all components are installed and connected, ensure all power cables are securely plugged in.
