Operating Instructions

The barcode scanner supports two primary working modes:

1. Instantly Upload Mode

In this mode, scanned barcodes are immediately transmitted to the connected device (computer, tablet, smartphone). This is the default and most common mode for real-time data entry.

  • Ensure the scanner is connected via USB, 2.4G wireless, or Bluetooth.
  • Open a text editor, spreadsheet, or application where you want the barcode data to appear.
  • Point the scanner's window at the barcode and press the trigger button.
  • The barcode data will appear at the cursor's position on your device.

2. Storage Mode (Offline Mode)

This mode allows you to scan and store barcodes internally when you are out of range or not connected to a host device. The scanner can store up to 100,000 barcodes.

  • To enter storage mode, scan the specific "Enter Storage Mode" barcode (refer to the separate quick setup guide or included barcode sheet).
  • Scan barcodes as usual. The data will be saved in the scanner's internal memory.
  • To upload stored data, connect the scanner to your device (via USB or 2.4G wireless) and scan the "Upload Data" barcode. The stored barcodes will then be transmitted.
  • To clear all stored data, scan the "Clear Data" barcode.

Hands-free Scanning

Utilize the included foldable stand for hands-free operation. Place the scanner on the stand, and it will automatically switch to continuous scanning mode or trigger scanning when an object is detected in its field of view (depending on configuration). This is ideal for high-volume scanning environments.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your barcode scanner.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the scanner's exterior. For the scanning window, use a lens cleaning cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner if necessary. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: Store the scanner in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery: The scanner has a built-in rechargeable lithium cell. For best battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the scanner using the provided USB cable.
  • Handling: Avoid dropping the scanner or subjecting it to strong impacts.
