Setup
1. Battery Installation
The Liberator II uses one CR-2032 battery. The battery compartment is located on the side of the optic.
- Unscrew the battery cap located on the side of the sight using a coin or the provided adjustment tool.
- Insert the CR-2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing outwards.
- Carefully screw the battery cap back on until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.
2. Mounting the Sight
The Liberator II comes with two Picatinny mounts: a low profile mount and an absolute co-witness mount. Choose the mount appropriate for your firearm and desired sight height.

- Attach the Liberator II optic to the chosen mount using the provided screws. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Place the assembled sight onto the Picatinny rail of your firearm.
- Tighten the mount's cross-bolt or quick-release lever (depending on mount type) to secure the sight to the rail. Ensure it is firm and does not wobble.
- Verify proper eye relief and position before final tightening.
Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off (Shake 'N Wake)
The Liberator II features Shake 'N Wake motion sensing technology for automatic power management.
- Power On: The sight will automatically power on and illuminate the reticle when it detects motion.
- Power Off: If no motion is detected for 4 consecutive minutes, the sight will automatically power off to conserve battery life. Any slight movement will instantly reactivate the sight.
2. Brightness Adjustment
The Liberator II has 10 brightness settings: two for night vision compatibility and eight for daylight conditions.
- Use the "+" button on the side of the sight to increase brightness.
- Use the "-" button to decrease brightness.
- Cycle through the settings to find the optimal brightness for your environment.
3. Windage and Elevation Adjustment
The windage (horizontal) and elevation (vertical) adjustments are located on the top and side of the sight, respectively. Each click adjusts the point of impact by a specific amount (typically 1 MOA per click, refer to specifications for exact value).
- Remove the protective caps from the adjustment turrets.
- Use a flathead screwdriver or the provided adjustment tool to turn the turrets.
- Elevation (Top Turret): Turning clockwise moves the point of impact DOWN. Turning counter-clockwise moves the point of impact UP.
- Windage (Side Turret): Turning clockwise moves the point of impact RIGHT. Turning counter-clockwise moves the point of impact LEFT.
- Make small adjustments and fire test shots to zero your sight accurately.
- Once zeroed, replace the protective caps to prevent accidental adjustments and protect the turrets.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning
- Lenses: Use the provided lens cloth or a soft, clean microfiber cloth to gently wipe the lenses. For stubborn smudges, a small amount of lens cleaning solution designed for optics can be applied to the cloth (not directly to the lens). Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
- Housing: Wipe the sight's housing with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Dry thoroughly.
2. Battery Replacement
Replace the CR-2032 battery when the dot appears dim or flickers, or if the Shake 'N Wake function becomes unreliable. Refer to the "Battery Installation" section for detailed steps.
3. Storage
When not in use, store the Liberator II in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, it is recommended to remove the battery to prevent potential leakage.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Dot does not illuminate. | Dead or incorrectly installed battery. Sight is in power-off mode. | Check battery orientation and charge. Replace battery if necessary. Gently shake the sight to activate Shake 'N Wake. |
| Dot is dim or flickers. | Low battery. Brightness setting too low. | Replace battery. Increase brightness using the "+" button. |
| Dot appears distorted or starburst. | Astigmatism (user's eye condition). Dirty lens. | This is often an optical illusion caused by astigmatism and is not a defect of the sight. Try looking through the sight with a rear iron sight or peep sight to confirm. Clean lenses thoroughly. |
| Sight loses zero. | Mounting screws loose. Impact or rough handling. | Check and tighten all mounting screws. Re-zero the sight. If problem persists after re-zeroing and tightening, contact customer support. |
