3. Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps to assemble your HOOBRO Dining Bench. It is recommended to have a second person assist with assembly for easier handling.
- Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Lay them out on a soft, clean surface. Refer to the parts list (usually found on the first page of the included paper manual) to identify each numbered piece.
- Assemble the Metal Frame: Connect the metal frame components using the provided screws and the assembly tool. Do not fully tighten the screws at this stage; leave them slightly loose to allow for adjustments.
- Attach the Bench Top/Seat:
- For Wood Bench: Place the wood top panel(s) onto the assembled metal frame. Align the pre-drilled holes on the panel(s) with the holes on the frame. Secure the top using the appropriate screws.
- For Padded Bench: Place the padded seat onto the assembled metal frame. Align the pre-drilled holes on the seat with the holes on the frame. Secure the seat using the appropriate screws.
- Tighten All Screws: Once all parts are aligned and loosely attached, systematically tighten all screws until they are secure. Ensure the bench is stable and does not wobble.
- Attach Adjustable Feet: Screw the adjustable feet into the bottom of the metal frame legs. These feet help to level the bench on uneven floors and protect your flooring.

4. Operating Instructions

- Placement: Position the bench on a flat, stable surface. The adjustable feet can be rotated to compensate for minor floor irregularities.
- Weight Capacity: The wood-top bench has a maximum weight capacity of 440 pounds, and the padded bench has a maximum weight capacity of 400 pounds. Do not exceed these limits to ensure safety and product longevity.
- Versatile Use: These benches are designed for multifunctional use. They can serve as dining benches, entryway benches for putting on shoes, end-of-bed benches in bedrooms, or even as decorative plant stands by a window.

5. Maintenance

- Cleaning:
- For Wood Top: Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Dry immediately.
- For Padded Seat: Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Do not use harsh detergents.
- For Metal Frame: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth.
- Screw Tightness: Periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months) check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight. Loose connections can lead to instability and damage.
- Avoid Direct Sunlight/Heat: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat sources can cause fading or damage to the materials.
