2. Safety Information

4. Installation Instructions

The SLAclite 8FT LED Linear Light supports both surface mount and suspended mount installations.

4.1. Unboxing and Preparation

1. Carefully open the packaging and remove the light fixture and all accessories.
2. Review the installation manual provided in the box.

4.2. Electrical Connection

1. Ensure power is OFF at the circuit breaker.
2. Remove the end cap of the fixture.
3. Connect the power cord wires to the internal terminal block. Ensure proper polarity (Live, Neutral, Ground).
4. If using 0-10V dimming, connect the dimmer wires to the designated dimming terminals.
5. Secure the wiring and replace the end cap.

4.3. Linking Multiple Fixtures (Optional)

For continuous runs, multiple fixtures can be linked seamlessly.

1. Remove the end cap from one end of the first fixture and one end of the second fixture.
2. Align the fixtures and push them together until they click into place, forming a secure mechanical and electrical connection.
3. Use the provided linking plates and screws to further secure the connection between fixtures.
4. Important: Do not exceed 5 linked fixtures in a continuous run to ensure stable operation and safety.

4.4. Mounting the Fixture

Choose between suspended or surface mount installation based on your application.

4.4.1. Suspended Mount

1. Mark the desired mounting points on the ceiling.
2. Install the ceiling anchors and hooks for the suspension cables.
3. Attach the suspension cables to the fixture and adjust the hanging height (0 to 5 feet) as needed.
4. Ensure the fixture is level and securely fastened.

4.4.2. Surface Mount

1. Mark the desired mounting points on the ceiling.
2. Install the surface mount brackets to the ceiling using appropriate screws and anchors.
3. Attach the linear light fixture to the installed brackets, ensuring it is securely locked in place.

5. Operating Instructions

The SLAclite LED Linear Light offers adjustable settings for wattage and color temperature.

5.1. Wattage Selection

The fixture features a selectable wattage switch, allowing you to choose between 100W, 90W, 80W, 70W, and 60W. This switch is typically located on the side or end of the fixture.

5.2. Color Temperature (CCT) Adjustment

A separate switch allows you to select the desired color temperature: 3000K (Warm White), 4000K (Neutral White), or 5000K (Cool White). The upper and lower light sections share these unified settings.

5.3. Upper Light ON/OFF

The fixture includes a switch to turn the upper light (uplight) ON or OFF independently. When enabled, both upper and lower sections share the selected wattage and CCT settings.

5.4. 0-10V Dimming

This fixture is compatible with external 0-10V dimmers (not included) for smooth brightness control from 0% to 100% without flickering or buzzing.
