2.2 Initial Setup

  1. Insert SD Card: Ensure the included 32GB U3-speed memory card is properly inserted into the dash cam's memory card slot. The dash cam supports up to 32GB cards.

  2. Format SD Card: It is highly recommended to format the SD card within the dash cam's settings before first use and periodically thereafter to ensure stable recording performance.

2.3 Mounting the Dash Cam

  1. Clean Windshield: Choose a suitable location on your windshield, preferably behind the rearview mirror, that does not obstruct your view. Clean the area thoroughly to ensure proper adhesion of the suction cup.

  2. Attach Suction Cup: Attach the suction cup bracket to the cleaned area of the windshield. Press firmly and engage the locking mechanism to secure it.

  3. Mount Main Unit: Slide the main dash cam unit onto the suction cup bracket until it clicks into place.

2.4 Installing the Rear Camera

  1. Choose Location: Install the rear camera on the rear windshield, ensuring it has a clear view of the road behind. Use the provided electrostatic stickers for secure mounting.

  2. Route Cable: Carefully route the 19.68ft rear camera cable from the main dash cam unit to the rear camera. Tuck the cable along the vehicle's headliner and A-pillars to keep it tidy and out of the way.

  3. Connect: Connect the rear camera cable to the designated port on the main dash cam unit.

2.5 Power Connection

  1. Connect Power Cable: Plug the smaller end of the 11.5ft power supply cable into the dash cam's power input port.

  2. Connect to Car Charger: Insert the car charger end of the power cable into your vehicle's 12V cigarette lighter socket.

  3. Automatic Power On/Off: The dash cam is designed to automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle's ignition is turned on, and power off when the ignition is turned off.

3. Operation

3.1 Basic Recording

Once powered on, the dash cam will automatically start recording. The 2.0-inch IPS display will show the live view from the cameras. You can switch between camera views (front, interior, rear, or combined views) using the display controls.

3.2 Loop Recording

The dash cam features loop recording, which continuously records video in segments (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes). When the memory card is full, the oldest unprotected files are automatically overwritten to make space for new recordings. This ensures continuous recording without manual intervention.

3.3 G-Sensor (Emergency Lock)

The built-in G-sensor detects sudden movements or impacts, such as collisions. When triggered, it automatically locks the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. These protected files are stored in a separate folder on the SD card.

3.4 24-Hour Parking Monitoring

This feature allows the dash cam to monitor your vehicle even when parked. It can be activated by motion detection or collision detection. If motion or an impact is detected, the camera will automatically start recording. For continuous 24-hour parking monitoring, a hardwire kit (not included) is required to provide constant power to the dash cam.

3.5 Night Vision and WDR/HDR

The dash cam is equipped with advanced night vision technology, a 6-layer glass lens with F2.0 aperture, and WDR/HDR (Wide Dynamic Range/High Dynamic Range) to ensure clear and crisp footage even in low-light conditions or challenging lighting environments.

3.6 Playback and File Management

You can review recorded videos directly on the dash cam's 2.0-inch IPS display. Navigate through files using the control buttons. To transfer files to a computer, remove the SD card and insert it into a card reader, or connect the dash cam directly to your computer via USB (if supported for data transfer).

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the dash cam's body and lens. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

  • Ensure the windshield area where the dash cam is mounted is clean to maintain proper suction.

4.2 Memory Card Management

  • Regularly format the SD card (at least once a month) to prevent data corruption and ensure optimal recording performance. This can typically be done through the dash cam's settings menu.

  • Use only high-quality, U3-speed (or higher) microSD cards from reputable brands to avoid recording issues.

  • The dash cam supports a maximum of 32GB memory cards. Using larger capacity cards may lead to compatibility issues or unstable operation.

4.3 Environmental Considerations

  • Avoid exposing the dash cam to extreme temperatures for prolonged periods, especially direct sunlight in hot climates, as this can affect battery life and component integrity.

  • Do not expose the dash cam to water or excessive moisture, except for the waterproof rear camera.
