3. Selecting and Fitting Ear Domes

Choosing the correct ear dome size is crucial for comfort and to prevent whistling (feedback noise). The package includes 6 pairs of silicone ear domes in various sizes and types (open and closed).

  • Experiment with different sizes to find the one that fits snugly and comfortably in your ear canal.
  • Ensure the dome creates a good seal to minimize sound leakage and feedback.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Regular cleaning is essential for maintaining the performance and longevity of your hearing aids.

  • Use the provided cleaning brush to gently remove earwax and debris from the ear domes and sound tubes daily.
  • Wipe the main body of the hearing aid with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use water or cleaning solutions directly on the hearing aids.

Storage

When not in use, store the hearing aids in their charging case to protect them from dust, moisture, and physical damage, and to keep them charged.

Troubleshooting

  • Whistling/Feedback Noise: This is often caused by an improper fit. Ensure the ear dome is snugly inserted into your ear canal and creates a good seal. Try a different size ear dome if necessary.
  • No Sound or Weak Sound:
    • Check if the hearing aid is powered on.
    • Ensure the battery is charged.
    • Clean the ear dome and sound tube to remove any blockages.
    • Adjust the volume setting.
  • Low Battery Warning: The hearing aid will emit a warning sound when the battery level is low. Place the hearing aids in the charging case immediately.

If you experience persistent issues, please refer to the full user manual or contact customer support.
