Setup

  1. Unpack all components and remove any packaging materials.
  2. Wipe down the non-stick frying pan and the transparent lid with a damp cloth. Wash the egg steaming rack and measuring cup with warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
  3. Place the main unit on a stable, heat-resistant, and dry surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance.
  4. Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into the appliance and then into a suitable electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

A. Boiling Eggs

  1. Using the provided measuring cup, add the appropriate amount of water to the heating plate of the main unit. The amount of water determines the doneness of the eggs (e.g., less water for soft-boiled, more for hard-boiled).
  2. Place the egg steaming rack onto the heating plate.
  3. Carefully place eggs onto the egg steaming rack. The cooker can accommodate up to 19 eggs.
  4. Cover the unit with the transparent lid.
  5. Plug in the appliance. The cooking process will begin automatically.
  6. Once the water has evaporated and the eggs are cooked, the appliance will automatically shut off.
  7. Unplug the appliance and carefully remove the lid (steam will be hot). Use caution when handling hot eggs.

Different stages of boiled eggs

Image Description: Three small heart-shaped bowls each contain a halved boiled egg, showcasing different levels of doneness: soft-boiled with a runny yolk, medium-boiled with a creamy yolk, and hard-boiled with a firm, fully cooked yolk. This illustrates the versatility of the egg cooker.

B. Frying

  1. Ensure the egg steaming rack is removed from the main unit.
  2. Add a small amount of cooking oil or butter to the non-stick frying pan.
  3. Plug in the appliance. The frying pan will begin to heat up.
  4. Once heated, add your desired food item (e.g., an egg, small patty, vegetables) to the frying pan.
  5. Cook until desired doneness, turning as needed. The transparent lid can be used to cover the pan for faster cooking or to prevent splattering.
  6. Once cooking is complete, unplug the appliance. Use the lengthened handle for safe handling and a spatula to remove food.

C. Steaming Other Foods

The egg cooker can also be used to steam small portions of other foods, such as vegetables or dumplings. Follow the same steps as boiling eggs, but place your desired food item on the steaming rack instead of eggs. Ensure the food is cut into small pieces for even cooking.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  1. Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Frying Pan: The non-stick frying pan can be wiped clean with a soft, damp cloth or sponge. For stubborn residue, use a small amount of mild dish soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could damage the non-stick coating.
  3. Egg Steaming Rack and Lid: These parts can be washed with warm, soapy water and rinsed thoroughly.
  4. Main Unit (Heating Base): Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit, power cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
  5. Ensure all parts are completely dry before storing or next use.
  6. Store the appliance in a cool, dry place.
