4. Setup
- Ensure your hair is clean, dry, and detangled before use.
- Plug the appliance into a suitable electrical outlet. The dual voltage feature (100-240V) allows for international use with an appropriate adapter (not included).
- Press and hold the power button to turn on the straightener.
- Select your desired temperature setting using the temperature controls. The digital display will show the selected temperature.
- Allow 15 seconds for the appliance to reach the set temperature.
5. Operating Instructions
Temperature Settings:
The Quico straightener offers 5 precise heat settings to cater to various hair types:
- 300°F (150°C): For thin, soft, colored, or damaged hair.
- 340°F (170°C) - 375°F (190°C): For normal or healthy hair.
- 410°F (210°C) - 450°F (230°C): For thick, textured, or harder hair types.

Straightening Hair:
- Section your hair into manageable strands using the provided hair clips.
- Take a small section of hair (approximately 1-2 inches wide).
- Place the hair between the heating plates, close to the roots.
- Gently clamp the plates and slowly glide the straightener down the hair shaft from root to tip.
- Repeat until the desired straightness is achieved for that section.
- Continue with remaining sections.
Curling Hair:
- Section your hair into manageable strands.
- Take a small section of hair.
- Place the hair between the heating plates, close to the roots.
- Clamp the plates and rotate the straightener 180 degrees (half turn) away from your face.
- Slowly glide the straightener down the hair shaft, maintaining the rotation, until you reach the ends.
- Release the hair to reveal a curl. Repeat for desired curls.

6. Maintenance
- Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Wipe the plates and exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
- Ensure the appliance is completely dry before storing.
- Store in a cool, dry place, ideally in its original packaging or the provided heat-resistant pouch.
