Setup

1. Adjusting Planing Depth

The planing depth can be adjusted using the depth adjustment knob located at the front of the planer. Rotate the knob to select the desired depth between 0mm and 2.6mm. A smaller depth setting is recommended for initial passes and fine finishing.

2. Attaching the Auxiliary Guide

For precise, straight planing along an edge, attach the auxiliary guide. Slide the guide into the designated slot on the side of the planer and secure it with the locking mechanism. Ensure it is firmly in place before operation.

Operating Instructions

  1. Prepare Workpiece: Ensure the workpiece is securely clamped and free of any metal objects.
  2. Set Depth: Adjust the planing depth using the front knob to your desired setting.
  3. Power On: Hold the planer firmly with both hands. Press the trigger switch to start the motor. Allow the blades to reach full speed before contacting the workpiece.
  4. Begin Planing: Place the front shoe of the planer flat on the workpiece. Apply steady, even pressure and move the planer smoothly across the surface. Maintain a consistent speed for best results.
  5. Finish Pass: As you reach the end of the workpiece, maintain pressure on the rear shoe to prevent the planer from tipping.
  6. Power Off: Release the trigger switch to stop the motor. Wait for the blades to stop rotating completely before setting the planer down.
