4.3 Series and Parallel Connection

This battery supports connection in series or parallel. Up to 4 identical batteries can be connected in series, and up to 4 identical batteries can be connected in parallel. When connecting multiple batteries:

  • Ensure all batteries are of the same brand, model, and capacity.
  • For parallel connections, connect positive to positive and negative to negative to increase capacity (Ah) while maintaining voltage.
  • For series connections, connect the positive of one battery to the negative of the next to increase voltage (V) while maintaining capacity.
  • Always balance the voltage of batteries before connecting them in series or parallel.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Charging

Use a LiFePO4 compatible charger. Standard lead-acid chargers may not fully charge the battery or could potentially damage it over time. The battery supports up to 10A fast charging.

  • Connect the charger to the battery terminals, ensuring correct polarity.
  • Plug the charger into a power source.
  • Monitor the charging process as indicated by your charger.

5.2 Discharging

The battery can provide a continuous discharge current of up to 20A and a 2C pulse discharge. The built-in BMS will protect the battery from over-discharge.

  • Connect your load to the battery terminals, observing correct polarity.
  • Ensure your load's current draw does not exceed the battery's maximum continuous discharge current.

5.3 Typical Applications

This battery is suitable for a wide range of applications due to its deep cycle capabilities and robust design:

  • Recreational Vehicles (RVs) & Camping: Powering lights, small appliances, and electronics.
  • Marine: Fish finders, small trolling motors, and other boat electronics.
  • Off-Grid Systems: Solar and wind energy storage.
  • Portable Power: For amateur radio, portable lighting, and other mobile setups.
  • Children's Riding Toys: Power wheels and scooters.
