2. Safety Information

Please read all safety instructions carefully before operating the device. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or personal injury.

  • Fluid Type: Only use high-quality, water-based fog machine fluid. Do not use oil-based fluids, flammable liquids, or any other substances, as this can damage the machine and pose a fire hazard.
  • Fluid Level: Ensure the fluid tank contains sufficient fog fluid before each use. Operating the machine without fluid can cause permanent damage to the pump and heating element.
  • Placement: Place the fog machine on a stable, flat, and non-flammable surface. Keep it away from heat sources such as fireplaces, radiators, and direct sunlight. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
  • Environmental Conditions: This machine is not waterproof. Do not use it in rainy, wet, or excessively windy conditions. Avoid exposing it to dripping or splashing water.
  • Overheating Protection: The unit features a built-in overheating protection system. If the internal temperature exceeds a safe limit, the fuse will automatically disconnect power to prevent damage. Allow the unit to cool down before attempting to restart.
  • Smoke Alarms: High densities of fog may trigger smoke alarms. Consider disabling smoke alarms in the immediate vicinity during operation, or ensure proper ventilation to prevent false alarms.
  • Children and Pets: Keep the fog machine out of reach of children and pets. Do not allow them to operate or play near the device.
  • Maintenance: Disconnect power before performing any maintenance or cleaning. There are no user-serviceable parts inside; refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
  • Power Supply: Connect the machine to a grounded power outlet with the correct voltage (AC 110-130V, 50/60Hz).

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and reliable performance of your fog machine.

  • Fluid Tank Cleaning: After every 40 hours of continuous operation, or if the machine will be stored for an extended period, it is recommended to clean the fluid system. Empty any remaining fog fluid from the tank. Fill the tank with distilled water (or a specialized fog machine cleaning solution) and run the machine in a well-ventilated area until the tank is empty. This helps prevent clogs in the heating element.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the machine in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the fluid tank is either empty or filled with fresh fluid if storing for a short period.
