WARNING: Carbon Monoxide Hazard. Generators produce carbon monoxide (CO), an odorless, colorless, and poisonous gas. Using a generator indoors can kill you in minutes. Always use the generator outdoors, far away from occupied buildings, and with the exhaust pointed away from personnel and buildings.

This generator is equipped with CO Shield technology, an automatic shut-off system that monitors the accumulation of carbon monoxide. If CO Shield detects unsafe elevated levels of CO gas, it automatically shuts off the engine. CO Shield is not a substitute for an indoor carbon monoxide alarm or for safe operation.

4. Setup

The generator is shipped with the required oil, but it is not pre-filled in the engine. Before starting, you must add the provided 10W-30 oil. The oil capacity is 0.5 quarts. An oil funnel is included for easy filling. Access the oil fill cap by removing the cover on the side of the engine.

Fill the 4.7-gallon fuel tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline. Ensure the fuel cap is securely fastened but vented for operation.

5.1 Control Panel Overview

5. Once the engine starts, slowly push the choke lever to the 'RUN' position.

5.3 Economy Mode

The generator features an economy mode. When activated, the engine speed adjusts automatically based on the electrical load, leading to quieter operation, extended engine life, and improved fuel economy. If the engine senses a need for more power, it will automatically increase its speed.

5.4 Connecting Devices
