5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Loading DTF Film

Load the DTF film onto the roll feeder. Ensure the film is aligned correctly and feeds smoothly into the printer. The printer supports A3 size film (13 inches wide).

5.2 Printing Your Design

  1. Prepare your design in the RIP software, ensuring correct color profiles and print settings.
  2. Send the design to the printer. The printer will apply CMYK+WW inks to the DTF film.
  3. Once printing is complete, carefully remove the printed film.

5.3 Applying DTF Powder and Curing

After printing, evenly apply DTF hot melt adhesive powder to the wet ink on the film. Shake off any excess powder. Cure the film using a heat press or oven according to the powder manufacturer's instructions. This melts the powder onto the ink, creating the adhesive layer.

5.4 Heat Press Transfer

Place the cured film onto your desired fabric (T-shirts, caps, bags, etc.) with the design facing down. Use a heat press to transfer the design from the film to the fabric. Refer to your heat press and film manufacturer's guidelines for optimal temperature and time settings. Once cooled, peel off the film to reveal your transferred design.
