4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

1. Ensure the impact driver is turned off.
2. Align the battery pack with the battery port on the tool's base.
3. Slide the battery pack into the port until it clicks securely into place.
4. To remove, press the battery release button(s) and slide the battery pack out.

4.2. Bit Installation

1. Ensure the battery pack is removed for safety.
2. Pull the 1/4 in. quick-change hex collet forward.
3. Insert the desired 1/4 in. hex shank bit fully into the collet.
4. Release the collet; the bit should be securely locked in place. Tug gently on the bit to confirm it is secure.
5. To remove, pull the collet forward and pull the bit out.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Powering On/Off

To power on the tool, depress the variable speed trigger. The tool will begin to operate. To power off, release the trigger.

5.2. Speed Control

The impact driver features a variable speed trigger. Pressing the trigger further increases the speed. The tool also has a 3-speed selector switch (Low, Medium, High) and an Auto mode for optimal control:

• Low Speed: For delicate tasks or when precise control is needed.
• Medium Speed: General purpose fastening.
• High Speed: For maximum torque and speed on stubborn fasteners.
• Auto Mode: Automatically adjusts speed and torque to prevent overtightening and stripping during driving, and provides controlled removal during loosening.

5.3. Forward/Reverse Rotation

A directional switch, typically located above the trigger, controls the rotation direction. Push the switch to the left for forward (clockwise) rotation and to the right for reverse (counter-clockwise) rotation. Position the switch in the center to lock the trigger and prevent accidental startup.

5.4. LED Work Light

The integrated LED light activates when the trigger is pressed, illuminating the work surface for improved visibility in dimly lit areas.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning

Regularly clean the tool's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Keep the ventilation openings clear of dust and debris to ensure proper motor cooling.

6.2. Storage
