Setup

1. Unit Placement

Place the portable air conditioner on a firm, level surface in the desired room. Ensure there is at least 20 inches (50 cm) of space around the unit for proper air circulation.

2. Window Kit Installation

The window sealing kit is designed for most standard vertical or horizontal sliding windows. It includes adjustable panels to fit various window sizes.

  1. Measure your window opening.
  2. Adjust the window slider kit panels to fit the opening, securing them with screws if necessary.
  3. Insert the assembled window kit into the window opening and close the window to secure it.

3. Exhaust Hose Connection

  1. Attach one end of the exhaust hose to the exhaust outlet on the back of the air conditioner unit.
  2. Attach the other end of the exhaust hose to the adapter in the window sealing kit.
  3. Ensure the hose is stretched as straight as possible and is not kinked or bent sharply, as this can reduce efficiency.

4. Drainage Setup

The unit will collect condensed water during operation. You have two drainage options:

  • Continuous Drainage: For prolonged use, connect the provided drain pipe to the continuous drainage port at the back of the unit and direct it to a floor drain or a suitable container.
  • Manual Drainage: For intermittent use, the unit has an internal water tank. When the tank is full, the unit will stop operating and display an indicator. Drain the water by removing the drain plug at the bottom rear of the unit and allowing the water to flow into a pan.

Your portable air conditioner can be controlled via the LED control panel on the unit or the included remote control.

3. Unit Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

4. Storage

Before long-term storage, drain all water from the unit, clean the air filter, and allow the unit to run in fan-only mode for a few hours to dry the internal components. Store the unit upright in a dry place.

Troubleshooting

Refer to the following table for common issues and their solutions:

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit does not turn on. No power, power cord unplugged, circuit breaker tripped. Check power connection, reset circuit breaker.
Unit is not cooling effectively. Dirty air filter, blocked air intake/exhaust, room too large, window kit not sealed, door/window open. Clean air filter, ensure clear airflow, check room size, seal window kit, close doors/windows.
Water leakage. Drain plug loose, continuous drainage hose kinked or blocked, internal water tank full (if not using continuous drainage). Ensure drain plug is secure, clear drainage hose, empty internal water tank.
Unit is noisy. Unit not on a level surface, fan obstruction, dirty filter. Place on a level surface, check for obstructions, clean filter.
Remote control not working. Batteries dead or incorrectly inserted, obstruction between remote and unit. Replace batteries, ensure clear line of sight to unit's receiver.

If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, please contact customer support.
