Setup

1. Battery Installation (Excavator)

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the excavator.
2. Use the provided screwdriver to open the battery compartment cover.
3. Connect one of the 1200mAh Lithium Polymer batteries to the excavator's battery connector, ensuring correct polarity.
4. Carefully place the battery inside the compartment and close the cover, securing it with the screw.

2. Battery Installation (Remote Control)

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 2 x AA batteries (not included) into the compartment, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment cover.

3. Charging the Excavator Batteries

The excavator comes with two rechargeable 1200mAh Lithium Polymer batteries. Use the included USB charging cable to charge them.

1. Connect the USB charging cable to the excavator battery.
2. Plug the USB end of the cable into a standard USB power adapter (e.g., phone charger, computer USB port).
3. The indicator light on the USB cable will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, off/green for fully charged).
4. Charging typically takes 2-3 hours. Do not overcharge.

4. Pairing the Remote Control

1. Ensure both the excavator and the remote control have fresh or fully charged batteries installed.
2. Turn on the excavator using the power switch. The excavator's lights may flash.
3. Turn on the remote control using its power switch.
4. The remote control and excavator should automatically pair. A successful connection is usually indicated by a solid light on the excavator and/or a confirmation sound.
5. If pairing fails, turn both devices off and repeat the steps.
