Setup

Battery Installation

1. Use the provided opening tool to gently pry open the product's casing.

Operating Instructions

Placement

Place the water leak alarm detector in areas prone to water leaks or flooding. Common locations include:

Alarm Activation and Volume Adjustment

When water is detected by the sensor probes, the alarm will sound and a red LED will flash. To adjust the alarm volume or activate silent mode:

• Long press the "TEST" button for 3 seconds to cycle through the 4 available volume levels (0dB mute to 120dB loud).
• To mute the alarm after a leak has been detected and addressed, press the "TEST" button briefly.

To ensure reliable operation and prevent false alarms, especially in highly humid environments, it is important to perform regular maintenance:

• Sensor Probe Cleaning: This detector senses water via electrode conduction. In highly humid environments, water mist can cause false triggers. Regularly wipe the sensor probes to keep them dry and clean.
• Battery Replacement: When the low battery reminder (red flashing light) activates, replace the AAA batteries promptly to ensure continuous leak monitoring.

Troubleshooting

• Alarm Not Sounding:
  • Check if the batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Replace if necessary.
  • Ensure the sensor probes are making proper contact with the surface where water might accumulate.
  • Verify that the volume is not set to mute (0dB). Long press the TEST button to adjust volume.
• False Alarms:
  • Wipe the sensor probes dry. High humidity or condensation can sometimes trigger the alarm.
  • Relocate the detector if it is consistently exposed to high humidity without actual water leaks.
• Low Battery Indicator Flashing:
  • Replace the AAA batteries immediately to maintain continuous protection.
