- Refer to the detailed instructions in the included separate chain installation guide for precise steps.
- Ensure the chain is correctly oriented and seated in the guide bar groove.
- Adjust chain tension so that the chain is snug against the guide bar but can still be pulled freely by hand. A properly tensioned chain should not sag on the underside of the guide bar.
3.4 Filling the Oil Reservoir
- Locate the oil reservoir cap on the chainsaw head.
- Unscrew the cap and fill the reservoir with appropriate bar and chain oil. Do not use motor oil or waste oil.
- Replace the cap securely. Check oil levels regularly during operation.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 General Operation
- Ensure all safety precautions are followed and personal protective equipment is worn.
- With the battery installed, press the safety lock button and then squeeze the trigger to start the saw. Release the trigger to stop.
- Allow the chain to reach full speed before making contact with the wood.
4.2 Using as a Pole Saw
- Adjust the pole to the required length, ensuring it is securely locked.
- Stand on firm ground, maintaining good balance. Do not stand directly under the branch being cut.
- Position the saw head on the underside of the branch first to make a small undercut (to prevent pinching), then complete the cut from the top.
- Let the saw do the work; do not force it.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your tool.
5.1 Chain Sharpening
- A dull chain will cut slowly and can cause the motor to overheat. Sharpen the chain regularly or replace it when necessary.
- Use a round file of the correct diameter for your chain type.
- Maintain the correct filing angles as specified in the chain manufacturer's instructions.
5.2 Guide Bar Maintenance
- Clean the guide bar groove regularly to remove sawdust and debris.
- Flip the guide bar periodically to ensure even wear.
- Check for burrs on the guide bar rails and file them smooth if present.
5.3 Cleaning and Storage
- After each use, remove the battery and clean the tool with a dry cloth. Remove any sawdust or debris from the motor vents and chain area.
- Store the tool in a dry, secure place, out of reach of children.
- Always store the chainsaw with the chain cover in place.
