2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection

2.2 Filling the Ink Tanks

  1. Open the ink tank cover located on the right side of the printer.
  2. Uncap the corresponding color ink bottle (Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow).
  3. Carefully insert the nozzle of the ink bottle into the ink tank opening. The ink will automatically flow into the tank.
  4. Once the tank is full, remove the bottle and securely close the ink tank cap and cover. Repeat for all colors.

Note: Avoid overfilling the ink tanks. Use only genuine Brother ink bottles to prevent damage and ensure print quality.

2.3 Power Connection

Connect the power cord to the printer and then to a wall outlet. Press the power button to turn on the printer. The display will illuminate.

2.4 Software Installation and Connectivity
