5. Setup

5.1 Battery Charging

  1. Connect the provided Type-C USB charging cable to the charger.
  2. Plug the USB end into a compatible USB power adapter (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter).
  3. Connect the battery to the charger. Ensure correct polarity.
  4. The charging indicator light will show the charging status (refer to charger manual for specific light patterns).
  5. Once fully charged (approx. 90 minutes), disconnect the battery from the charger. Do not overcharge.

5.2 Remote Controller Setup

  1. Install 4 AA batteries (not included) into the remote controller, observing correct polarity.
  2. Turn on the remote controller. The LCD display will illuminate.
  3. Familiarize yourself with the controls: throttle stick (left), cyclic stick (right), trim buttons, and mode switch (3D/6G).
  4. The remote controller supports Futaba S-FHSS transmission protocol and is compatible with DSMX / DSM2 / PPM / S-BUS receivers.

5.3 Helicopter Preparation

  1. Carefully attach the main rotor blades if they are not pre-installed. Ensure they are securely fastened but can still pivot freely.
  2. Insert the fully charged LiPo battery into the helicopter's battery compartment. Secure it to prevent movement during flight.
  3. Connect the battery to the helicopter's power connector.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Pre-Flight Check

  • Ensure both the helicopter and remote controller batteries are fully charged.
  • Check all screws and connections for tightness.
  • Verify that the rotor blades are free from damage and can rotate smoothly.
  • Perform a range check of the remote control system.

6.2 Binding Procedure

  1. Turn on the remote controller first.
  2. Connect the helicopter battery. The helicopter's indicator light will flash.
  3. Wait for the indicator light on the helicopter to become solid, indicating a successful bind.
  4. If binding fails, turn off both devices and repeat the process.

6.3 Flight Modes

  • 6G (Stabilized) Mode: Ideal for stable flight and beginners. The 6-axis gyroscope provides automatic stabilization, making it easier to control.
  • 3D (Aerobatic) Mode: For advanced pilots. This mode allows for complex aerobatic maneuvers such as inverted flight, rolls, and flips. Requires precise control and experience.

6.4 Take-off and Landing

  1. Place the helicopter on a flat, level surface.
  2. Slowly increase the throttle stick. The main rotor will begin to spin.
  3. Continue to increase throttle until the helicopter lifts off smoothly.
  4. To land, slowly decrease the throttle stick until the helicopter gently descends.
  5. Once on the ground, immediately reduce throttle to zero and disconnect the battery.

Expected flight time per charge is approximately 9-12 minutes, depending on flight style and conditions.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: After each flight, gently wipe down the helicopter with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
  • Blade Inspection: Regularly check the main and tail rotor blades for any cracks, chips, or deformation. Replace damaged blades immediately.
  • Motor and Gear Inspection: Periodically check the brushless motors and gears for any signs of wear or obstruction. Ensure smooth rotation.
  • Battery Care: Store LiPo batteries at room temperature and a storage charge (around 3.8V per cell) if not used for extended periods. Do not fully discharge or overcharge.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the helicopter in its original packaging or a protective case to prevent damage.

8. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Helicopter does not respond to remote controller. Not bound, low battery, remote controller off.Perform binding procedure, charge batteries, turn on remote controller.
Helicopter is unstable during flight.Blades damaged, gyroscope calibration needed, strong wind.Replace damaged blades, recalibrate gyroscope (refer to remote controller manual), fly in calm conditions.
Short flight time.Battery not fully charged, old battery, aggressive flying.Ensure full charge, consider replacing old batteries, fly more gently.
Motors not spinning.Battery not connected, motor/ESC issue.Check battery connection, contact support if issue persists.
