3. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your docking station and connect your devices.

3.1 Connecting the Dock to Your Laptop

1. Ensure your laptop has a full-featured USB-C port that supports Power Delivery, Data Transfer, and Display Alt Mode.
2. Use the included USB-C to USB-C cable. Connect one end to the "To Host" USB-C port on the docking station.
3. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to your laptop's full-featured USB-C port.

3.2 Connecting External Monitors

1. Connect your HDMI cables from your external monitors to the HDMI1 and HDMI2 ports on the docking station.
2. Ensure the other ends of the HDMI cables are securely connected to your monitors.

Important Note: Do not connect to the USB-C data ports of the dock to extend the display, as these ports do NOT support video output.

1. Connect your laptop's power adapter (USB-C PD, greater than 65W recommended) to the "PD IN" USB-C port on the docking station.

Note: The PD power adapter is NOT included with the docking station. A power adapter greater than 65W is recommended for stable power input to your laptop.

The docking station supports various display modes for Windows operating systems.

4.1 Windows Display Modes

• SST (Single-Stream Transport) Mode: Allows for mirroring (AAA) or extending (ABB) displays.
• MST (Multi-Stream Transport) Mode: Enables extending displays to multiple unique screens (ABC).

4.2 Clamshell Mode

To use your laptop in clamshell mode (lid closed) with external monitors:

1. Ensure a mouse and keyboard are connected to the docking station.

Important Note: Due to the limitations of Mac OS, this docking station is NOT compatible with MacBook, MacBook Air, or MacBook Pro for split screen functionality. Mac OS only supports Single-Stream Transport (SST) mode (AAA, ABB), and Multi-Stream Transport (MST) mode is not supported for extending displays.
