To set the current time and day:

1. Press and hold the Clock button.
2. While holding Clock, press the Week button repeatedly to set the current day of the week (MO, TU, WE, TH, FR, SA, SU).
3. While holding Clock, press the H button repeatedly to set the current hour.
4. While holding Clock, press the M button repeatedly to set the current minute.
5. Release the Clock button. The current time and day are now set.

The MT316S allows for up to 28 ON/OFF programs. Follow these steps to set a program:

1. Press the Timer button once. The display will show "1 ON".
2. Press the Week button to select the day(s) for this ON program. You can choose a single day, specific days, or blocks of days (e.g., Mon-Fri, Sat-Sun, Mon-Sun).
3. Press the H button to set the desired ON hour.
4. Press the M button to set the desired ON minute.
5. Press the Timer button again. The display will show "1 OFF".
6. Repeat steps 2-4 to set the day(s), hour, and minute for the corresponding OFF program.
7. Continue pressing the Timer button to cycle through "2 ON", "2 OFF", and so on, up to "28 ON/OFF" programs, setting each as needed.
8. After setting all desired programs, press the Clock button to exit programming mode and return to the current time display.

6.4. Manual Override

The Manual button allows you to override the programmed settings temporarily:

• Press Manual once: Changes output from AUTO to ON.
• Press Manual again: Changes output from ON to AUTO OFF.
• Press Manual again: Changes output from AUTO OFF to OFF.
• Press Manual again: Changes output from OFF to AUTO ON.

The "AUTO" indicator on the display shows that the timer is operating according to its programmed schedule.
