4. Setup
4.1 Connecting Components
Familiarize yourself with the connection points on the welder's front panel:

4.2 Wire Feeding System
The MIG-155L supports various wire types. Ensure the correct drive roller is installed for your chosen wire:
- K-groove: For FLUX welding wire.
- V-groove: For SOLID welding wire.
- U-groove: For ALUMINUM welding wire (AlMg5356).
To load wire, open the side panel, place the wire spool on the spindle, and feed the wire through the drive roller mechanism into the MIG torch liner. Ensure the tension is appropriate to prevent tangling or slipping.

4.3 Welding Mode Connections
Connect your welding accessories according to the desired welding mode:
- Gasless MIG: Connect the MIG torch and ground clamp as shown. No gas connection is needed.
- Gas MIG: Connect the MIG torch, ground clamp, and gas hose to a suitable gas cylinder.
- Lift TIG: Connect the electrode holder and ground clamp. A TIG torch (not included) is required for this mode.
- Stick: Connect the electrode holder and ground clamp.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Control Panel Overview
The large LED display and control knob provide clear feedback and easy adjustment of welding parameters.

- Fast Wire Feeding: Button 'a' for quick wire advancement.
- Welding Mode Choose/SYN: Button 'b' to select welding mode and activate Synergic control.
- Stick Functions Select; Voltage and Amp Adjust: Knob 'c' for adjusting parameters and selecting Stick functions.
- 2T/4T/SPOT: Buttons 'd' for trigger modes.
5.2 SYNERGIC Control
The SYNERGIC mode automatically adjusts voltage and wire feeding speed for optimal performance. To activate:
- Press and hold button "A" (Welding Mode Choose/SYN) for 3 seconds to turn on SYN.
- Choose the desired welding mode.
- Slightly adjust the current using the main knob.

5.3 2T/4T/SPOT Settings
These settings cater to diverse welding requirements:
- 2T (Two-Touch): Hold the trigger to weld, release to stop.
- 4T (Four-Touch): Press and release to start, press and release again to stop. Ideal for long welds.
- SPOT: For timed spot welds. Spot time can be adjusted.

5.4 Aluminum MIG Welding
The MIG-155L simplifies aluminum MIG welding. It does not require changing to a Teflon liner or using a Spool Gun. For best results, use ER5356 AlMg wire with a recommended diameter of 0.040". Position the welding torch facing left and weld from right to left.

5.5 STICK Welding Control
In STICK welding mode, you can adjust VRD (Voltage Reduction Device), Arc Force, and Hot Start settings for safer, more efficient, and stable arc performance. This mode is compatible with electrode type E6013.
