3. Setup
3.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge your camera using the provided USB charging cable. The charging indicator light will change color (e.g., from orange to green) once fully charged. A full charge can last for several months depending on usage.
3.2 App Installation
Download the 'VicoHome' app from your smartphone's app store (available on App Store and Google Play). Follow the on-screen instructions to create an account and log in.

3.3 Device Pairing
- In the VicoHome app, tap the '+' icon to add a new device.
- Select 'Battery device' and follow the prompts.
- Power on your camera by pressing the power button. The camera will emit a tip sound.
- Confirm you heard the sound in the app.
- Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password. (Note: This camera is compatible with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only).
- The app will guide you through the final connection steps.
3.4 Mounting the Camera
The camera comes with a swivel mount and screws for easy installation. Choose a location that provides the desired viewing angle and is within range of your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The camera is weatherproof (IP65 rated) for both indoor and outdoor use.
- Position the mounting bracket in the desired location.
- Mark the screw holes.
- Drill pilot holes if necessary.
- Secure the mounting bracket using the provided screws.
- Attach the camera to the mounting bracket by rotating it clockwise until secure.
- Adjust the camera's angle as needed using the swivel mechanism.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 2K UHD Clarity with Night Vision
The camera captures razor-sharp footage day and night with 2K resolution. It features both full-color night vision (with spotlight activation) and infrared (IR) night vision. The 3x digital zoom allows you to focus on important details.

4.2 Real-Time Alerts & Two-Way Audio
Receive instant smartphone notifications when motion is detected. Use the built-in microphone and speaker for clear two-way communication through the app. This allows you to greet visitors or deter unwanted guests.

4.3 Smart Motion Detection & Custom Activity Zones
The camera provides reliable motion detection alerts without a subscription. For advanced features such as AI recognition (people, vehicles, pets) and custom activity zone setup, an additional subscription plan is required.

4.4 Storage Options
Securely store footage with free 3-day rolling cloud backups. For extended coverage, you can upgrade to premium cloud plans (subscription required) or use a microSD card (up to 128GB, not included) for local storage.

4.5 Multi-User Sharing
The camera supports multi-user sharing, allowing multiple family members to view the live feed simultaneously. This feature can be managed through the VicoHome app.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Battery Care
The camera is equipped with a long-lasting rechargeable battery. To maximize battery life, ensure the camera is fully charged before deployment. - Poor image quality: Check the camera lens for dirt or obstructions. Ensure the camera is within optimal Wi-Fi range for stable streaming.
- Motion detection not working: Verify motion detection is enabled in the app settings. Adjust sensitivity levels. Ensure the camera's view is not obstructed.
- Short battery life: Reduce motion detection sensitivity or frequency of recordings. Ensure the camera is fully charged. Consider purchasing a solar panel charger for continuous power.
