1.1 Package Contents

1.2 Power Supply

The Diyife Digital Kitchen Scale offers two power options: AAA batteries or USB-C rechargeable power.

Battery Installation:

Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Open the compartment, insert the two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-), and close the cover securely.

USB-C Charging:

Connect the provided USB-C cable to the scale's charging port and plug the other end into a compatible USB power source. The scale features an internal rechargeable battery. A charging indicator will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.

1.3 Initial Use and Protective Film

Before first use, ensure the scale is placed on a clean, level, and stable surface. Remove any blue protective film from the stainless steel platform to ensure accurate readings.

2.1 Turning On/Off

Press the ON/OFF button to turn the scale on. Press and hold the ON/OFF button to turn the scale off.

2.2 Unit Conversion

Press the UNIT button to cycle through the available measurement units: grams (g), kilograms (kg), pounds:ounces (lb:oz), fluid ounces (fl:oz), and milliliters (ml).

2.3 Tare Function

To weigh items in a container without including the container's weight, use the Tare function. Place the empty container on the scale, then press the TARE button. The display will reset to zero. You can then add your ingredients to the container, and the scale will display only the weight of the added items.

3.1 Cleaning

The Diyife Kitchen Scale is made of 304 food-grade stainless steel, which is easy to clean. Simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth. Avoid submerging the scale in water or using abrasive cleaners.

4.1 Automatic Shut-off

To conserve power, the scale will automatically turn off if no button is pressed or the weight does not change within 120 seconds.

4.2 Overweight and Low Voltage Reminders

The scale is equipped with an overweight automatic reminder and a low voltage reminder function to prevent damage and ensure optimal performance. If an 'Err' message appears, the scale may be overloaded. Remove items immediately. If a 'Lo' message appears, the batteries are low and need to be replaced or recharged.
