Setup and Assembly

Before You Begin:

Assembly Steps:

1. Assemble the Main Bed Frame: Attach the side rails to the headboard and footboard using the provided bolts and nuts. Ensure all connections are secure but do not fully tighten until all major components are in place.
2. Install Bed Slats: Place the wooden slats onto the support rails of the main bed frame. Secure them using the provided screws or plastic caps, ensuring even spacing for mattress support.
3. Assemble the Trundle Frame: Construct the trundle bed frame by attaching its side rails to the end panels. Install the castor wheels onto the bottom of the trundle frame.

Operation

The Kingston Slumber bed frame features a convenient pop-up trundle, allowing for an additional sleeping space when needed and compact storage when not in use.

Using the Pop-Up Trundle:

1. To Extend: Gently pull the trundle bed frame out from underneath the main bed. The trundle is equipped with smooth-rolling castors for easy movement.
2. To Elevate (if applicable): Some trundle models feature a pop-up mechanism. If your model has this feature, lift the trundle frame until it locks into an elevated position, aligning with the height of the main bed. This transforms it into a separate, full-height single bed.
3. To Retract: If elevated, disengage the pop-up mechanism (refer to specific instructions if provided with your model). Gently push the trundle bed back underneath the main bed until it is fully stored.

Note: The trundle bed is designed to accommodate a single mattress with a maximum thickness of 16cm to allow for proper storage underneath the main bed.
