Setup

- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. The red "POWER" indicator light will illuminate, indicating the unit is receiving power.
- Initial Use (Burn-off): For the first use, turn the temperature control knob to the highest setting (MAX) for approximately 5-10 minutes without any cookware. This will burn off any manufacturing residues and odors. A small amount of smoke or odor is normal during this process. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.

Operating Instructions
- Place Cookware: Place your desired cookware (pot or pan) directly onto the heating element. Ensure the cookware has a flat bottom for optimal contact and heat transfer.
- Adjust Temperature: Turn the temperature control knob clockwise to your desired heat setting (1-5 or MAX). The green "HEATING" indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the element is heating.
- Heating Cycle: The "HEATING" light will cycle on and off as the hot plate maintains the selected temperature. This is normal operation and indicates the thermostat is regulating the heat.
- Cooking: Cook your food as desired. Monitor the cooking process and adjust the temperature as needed.
- Finish Cooking: Once cooking is complete, turn the temperature control knob counter-clockwise to the "OFF" position.
