Installation Guide
The Mangoal 4K Dash Cam is designed for easy, non-destructive installation. Follow these steps carefully:
- Remove Reading Light Cover: Use the provided crowbar tool to carefully pry open and remove the reading light cover near your rearview mirror.
- Pull Out the Plug: Locate and gently pull out the existing power plug from the vehicle's wiring harness in the removed cover area.
- Connect Conversion Cable: Connect the provided Rain-Fall Sensor Plug Adapter (conversion cable) to the vehicle's power plug. Ensure a secure connection.
- Hide the Cable: Carefully tuck and hide the conversion cable and any excess wiring within the headliner or trim to maintain a clean, OEM appearance.
- Align and Install Dash Cam: Align the dash cam with the designated mounting area behind the rearview mirror. Ensure it clicks securely into place, fitting perfectly with the vehicle's sensor cover.
- Installation Complete: Once secured, replace the reading light cover. The dash cam should now be fully integrated and ready for use.

Operating Instructions
The dash cam powers on automatically when the vehicle's ignition is turned on and begins recording. It powers off shortly after the ignition is turned off.
Mobile App Usage
The built-in Wi-Fi allows for convenient control and access via the dedicated mobile application (SkyCamm).
- Download App: Search for "SkyCamm" on the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and install it on your smartphone.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Turn on your dash cam. On your phone, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the dash cam's Wi-Fi network. The network name and password can typically be found in the dash cam's manual or on the device itself.
- Access Features: Open the SkyCamm app. You can now view real-time video, browse recorded footage, download important clips to your phone, and adjust settings.

Loop Recording
The dash cam continuously records video in short segments (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes). When the included 64GB MicroSD card reaches its storage limit, the system automatically overwrites the oldest unlocked footage with new recordings. This ensures that recording never stops due to a full memory card.
G-Sensor (Automatic Incident Detection)
The built-in G-Sensor detects sudden impacts or rapid deceleration/acceleration. In the event of a collision, the G-Sensor automatically triggers the dash cam to lock the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. This ensures critical footage of an incident is preserved.
Parking Monitor (Optional)
For 24-hour parking protection, the dash cam can automatically switch to Parking Mode and begin recording upon detecting motion or impact while the vehicle is parked. This feature requires an optional dedicated power adapter (e.g., OBD Power Adapter ASIN: B0CVTKTGVY or Fuse Box Power Adapter ASIN: B0CXXXV4YG), which is not included in the standard package.
