Maintenance

Proper care ensures the longevity and performance of your heated blanket.

  1. Before Cleaning: Always unplug the blanket from the wall outlet and detach the controller from the blanket. Allow the blanket to cool completely.
  2. Machine Washing: The blanket is machine washable. Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle.
  3. Drying: Tumble dry on low heat. Ensure the blanket is completely dry before reattaching the controller or storing.
  4. Do Not: Do not iron, bleach, or dry clean the blanket. These actions can damage the heating elements and fabric.
  5. Storage: When not in use, store the blanket in a cool, dry place. Avoid folding it tightly or placing heavy objects on it, which could damage the internal wiring.

Troubleshooting

If your heated blanket is not operating correctly, please refer to the following common issues and solutions:

  • Blanket Not Heating:
    • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
    • Verify that the controller cable is firmly connected to the blanket.
    • Check if the automatic shut-off timer has activated (after 3 hours). Turn the blanket off and then on again.
    • Ensure no other heating devices are being used simultaneously with the blanket.
  • Controller Displaying Error Code:
    • Unplug the blanket from the wall outlet for 5 minutes, then plug it back in.
    • Ensure all electrical connections (wall outlet, controller to blanket) are secure and snug. Loose connections can sometimes trigger error codes.
  • Uneven Heating:
    • Ensure the blanket is laid flat and not bunched or folded during use, which can impede heat distribution.

If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, discontinue use and contact customer support.
