4. Setup and Assembly

Assembly Steps (General Guidance):

- Side Rails and Footboard: Attach the side rails to the headboard, followed by the footboard. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Slat Installation: Install the wooden slats across the bed frame. Ensure they are evenly spaced and securely fastened to provide proper mattress support. The EVA pads on the slats should face upwards.
- Drawer Assembly: Assemble the two storage drawers according to the instructions. Install the wheels and latches.
- Drawer Insertion: Slide the assembled drawers into their designated spaces under the bed frame.
- Final Checks: Double-check all screws and bolts to ensure they are tight. Confirm the bed frame is stable and level.
Note: Some users have found that using a low-torque electric drill can expedite certain steps, but extreme caution is advised to prevent damage to the engineered wood components. Always start with the lowest torque setting and apply minimal pressure.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Using the Headboard Storage
The headboard features hidden storage compartments accessible via sliding barn doors. These doors can be adjusted to various positions to reveal or conceal items as desired.
- To access the storage, gently slide the barn door panels horizontally.
- The internal shelves are adjustable. To change shelf height, remove the shelf, reposition the support pins to the desired slots, and reinsert the shelf.
- The 10.2-inch wide top shelf provides an open surface for frequently used items.

5.2 Using the Integrated Charging Station
The headboard includes a built-in charging station for your electronic devices.
- Plug the bed frame's power cord into a standard wall outlet.
- Use the two AC outlets for larger electronics or chargers.
- Connect your devices to the USB or Type-C ports for direct charging.
- Ensure devices are compatible with the provided voltage and amperage (110V/12A for AC, 5V/2A for USB/Type-C).

5.3 Using the Storage Drawers
Two large drawers are located under the bed for additional storage.
- To open a drawer, gently pull the handle. The drawers are equipped with wheels for smooth movement.
- To close, push the drawer back until the latch engages, securing it in place and preventing dust accumulation.
6. Maintenance
Proper maintenance will extend the life and appearance of your bed frame.
- Cleaning: Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that can damage the finish.

- Slats: Ensure wooden slats remain properly seated and undamaged. Replace any broken slats immediately to maintain mattress support.
- Drawers: Keep drawer wheels free of debris to ensure smooth operation.
- Charging Station: Keep the charging ports clean and free of dust. Do not expose the charging station to liquids.
