2. Safety Information

Your safety is paramount. Adhere to all safety warnings and instructions to prevent injury or damage.

2.1 General Safety Guidelines

  • Always wear appropriate safety gear, including a helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads.
  • Ensure all fasteners are securely tightened before each use.
  • Do not ride the scooter in wet conditions, on uneven surfaces, or at night.
  • Supervise children at all times while they are using the scooter.
  • The maximum weight capacity for this scooter is 100 kg (220 lbs). Do not exceed this limit.
  • This scooter is designed for children aged 6 to 12 years.
  • Comply with local traffic laws and regulations.

2.2 Braking Safety

The scooter is equipped with a rear brake system. Apply the brake gently and gradually to avoid sudden stops and loss of balance.

4. Setup and Assembly

The AIYAPLAY Kids Scooter requires minimal assembly. Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Unfold the Scooter:

    Locate the folding mechanism near the base of the handlebar stem. Release the latch and carefully unfold the scooter until the stem locks into place. Ensure it is securely locked before proceeding.

  2. Attach the Handlebar:

    Insert the handlebar assembly into the top of the main stem. Align the holes and secure it with the provided locking pin or clamp, ensuring it is firmly seated and does not wobble.

  3. Adjust Handlebar Height:

    The handlebar can be adjusted to four different height levels: 88 cm, 93 cm, 98 cm, and 103 cm. Press the adjustment button and slide the handlebar to the desired height. Ensure the button snaps securely into one of the height adjustment holes.

  4. Check All Connections:

    Before first use, double-check all screws, clamps, and locking mechanisms to ensure they are tight and secure. Pay particular attention to the handlebar, folding mechanism, and wheel axles.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Riding the Scooter

  • Place one foot firmly on the non-slip deck.
  • Use the other foot to push off the ground, gaining momentum.
  • Once moving, place both feet on the deck, one behind the other.
  • Steer by gently leaning and turning the handlebars.

5.2 Braking

To slow down or stop, gently press your foot down on the rear fender brake. Apply pressure gradually to maintain control and avoid skidding.

5.3 Kickstand Use

The scooter is equipped with a kickstand for convenient parking. To deploy, gently push the kickstand down with your foot until it clicks into place. Ensure the scooter is stable before letting go.
