Setup
1. Initial Winding
Your RUIGE A6 watch is powered by an automatic mechanical movement. Before wearing it for the first time, or if it has stopped due to inactivity, it requires manual winding.
- Ensure the crown is in position 1 (fully pushed in, against the watch case).
- Rotate the crown clockwise approximately 30-40 times. This will build up an initial power reserve.
- Once wound, the watch will start ticking. Subsequent wearing will keep the watch wound through your natural wrist movements.
2. Setting Time and Date
The watch features a day and date display. Follow these steps to set the correct time and calendar.
- Setting the Date: Gently pull the crown out to position 2 (first click). Rotate the crown clockwise to adjust the date. Rotate counter-clockwise to adjust the day of the week. Avoid setting the date or day between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can damage the movement. If the time falls within this period, first set the time outside this range, then adjust the date/day, and finally reset the time.
- Setting the Time: Pull the crown out to position 3 (second click). The second hand will stop. Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands. Advance the hands past 12 o'clock to ensure the AM/PM is correctly set for the date change.
- Once the correct time is set, push the crown back into position 1 (fully pushed in) to start the watch and ensure water resistance.

3. Adjusting the Bracelet
The stainless steel bracelet is designed for comfort. If the bracelet is too loose or too tight, it may need adjustment.
- The bracelet features removable links. For precise adjustment, it is recommended to visit a professional watchmaker or jeweler.
- The clasp is a double-click butterfly buckle, providing a secure and smooth fit.

Operating Your Watch
Automatic Movement
The RUIGE A6 features an automatic mechanical movement. This means the watch is powered by the natural motion of your wrist. As you wear the watch, an oscillating weight inside the movement rotates, winding the mainspring and storing energy.
- Power Reserve: A fully wound automatic watch typically has a power reserve of approximately 36-40 hours. If the watch is not worn for an extended period, it will stop. Simply re-wind it manually (as described in the "Initial Winding" section) and wear it to resume operation.
- Wearing Comfort: The watch is designed with ergonomics in mind, ensuring a comfortable fit for daily wear.

Water Resistance
Your RUIGE A6 watch has a water resistance rating of 30 meters (3 ATM). This rating indicates that the watch is suitable for everyday use and can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water.
- Do NOT wear the watch for swimming, diving, showering, or any activities involving prolonged water immersion or high-pressure water exposure.
- Ensure the crown is always fully pushed in to maintain water resistance.
- Avoid operating the crown while the watch is wet or submerged.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch case and bracelet regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust, sweat, and dirt. For stubborn grime, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: When not wearing your watch for an extended period, store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The original watch box is ideal for storage.
- Avoid Magnetic Fields: Mechanical watches can be affected by strong magnetic fields (e.g., from speakers, refrigerators, certain electronic devices), which can cause them to run inaccurately. Keep your watch away from such sources.
- Professional Service: Like any precision mechanical instrument, your watch will benefit from periodic professional servicing (typically every 3-5 years) to ensure its accuracy and longevity. This involves cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting the movement.
Troubleshooting
- Watch has stopped or is running slowly:
As an automatic watch, it relies on motion. If it has stopped, manually wind the watch by rotating the crown clockwise 30-40 times (with the crown fully pushed in). Wear the watch regularly to keep it wound.
- Date/Day is not changing at midnight:
The watch's time might be set to PM when it should be AM, or vice-versa. Pull the crown to position 3 and advance the time by 12 hours. Then, re-check the date/day change. Ensure you avoid setting the date/day between 9 PM and 3 AM.
- Watch is running too fast or too slow:
Minor variations in accuracy are normal for mechanical watches. However, if the deviation is significant, it might be due to exposure to strong magnetic fields or require professional adjustment. Consult a qualified watchmaker.
- Condensation under the crystal:
This indicates moisture has entered the watch. Immediately take the watch to a professional watchmaker for inspection and repair to prevent damage to the movement.
