  1. Locate the host power line jack at the rear of the device.
  2. Connect the provided power cable to the host power line jack and then to a suitable power outlet.
  3. If using an ultrasonic height tester, connect its power line to the designated jack.

2.3 Printer Setup (Optional)

  • The device has a built-in micro thermal printer. Ensure thermal paper is loaded correctly.
  • For external A4 printing, connect a compatible ink-jet printer to the ink-jet printer data line jack using a data cable.

3. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to perform a body composition analysis and interpret your results.

3.1 Powering On and Initial Settings

  1. Flip the general power switch located at the rear of the device to the 'ON' position.
  2. The 8-inch LED touch screen will power on. Follow on-screen prompts to set up basic user profiles or select an existing one.
  3. Input necessary personal data such as age, gender, and height (if not automatically measured by an ultrasonic height tester).

3.2 Performing a Measurement

  1. Ensure your feet are clean and dry. Remove socks or stockings.
  2. Step onto the base platform, placing your bare feet on the designated front and back electrodes.
  3. Grasp the handle electrodes firmly with both hands, ensuring full contact with the metal surfaces.
  4. Stand still and maintain a natural posture during the measurement process. Avoid talking or moving.
  5. The device will automatically begin the bioimpedance analysis. The measurement typically takes a few moments.
