1. Important Safety Information
Always prioritize safety when operating power tools. Read and understand all instructions before use. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.
1.1 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Eye Protection: Always wear safety glasses or goggles to protect against flying debris.
- Hand Protection: Wear heavy-duty work gloves to improve grip and protect hands.
- Head Protection: A hard hat is recommended when working overhead.
- Foot Protection: Wear sturdy, non-slip footwear.
1.2 Work Area Safety
- Keep the work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
- Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
- Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.
1.3 Electrical Safety
- Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges, and refrigerators.
- Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
- Use only the specified battery pack and charger for this tool.
1.4 Chainsaw Specific Safety
- Kickback: Be aware of kickback, which can occur when the moving chain contacts an object at the upper tip of the guide bar.
- Secure Workpiece: Always ensure the material being cut is stable and properly supported.
- Proper Grip: Maintain a firm grip with both hands on the chainsaw handles.
- Double Safety System: The tool features a double safety system requiring simultaneous activation of the safety lock and trigger to operate.
2. Setup and Assembly
Before first use, ensure all components are present and correctly assembled.
2.1 Unboxing and Contents Check
Carefully unpack all items from the box. Verify that all components listed in the manual are present and undamaged.

Figure 2.1: Complete kit contents of the RINOXAR 2-in-1 Cordless Pole Mini Chainsaw.
The kit includes: 8-inch mini chainsaw, telescopic pole, 2x 4000mAh batteries, 2 chains (1 pre-installed), 2 guide bars (1 pre-installed), charger, empty oil bottle, cleaning brush, non-slip gloves, protective glasses, and this detailed manual.
2.2 Chainsaw Assembly (Mini Chainsaw Mode)
- Place the guide bar onto the chainsaw body, ensuring it aligns with the mounting studs.
- Carefully loop the chain around the sprocket and guide bar, ensuring the cutting teeth face the correct direction.
- Attach the side cover and secure it with the retaining knob. Adjust chain tension as needed (see Maintenance section).
2.3 Attaching the Telescopic Pole (Pole Saw Mode)
To convert to pole saw mode, attach the mini chainsaw head to the telescopic pole. Ensure the connection is secure before use.

Figure 2.3: The telescopic pole extends up to 2 meters, providing a maximum reach of 4 meters from the ground. The motor head can rotate 180 degrees for versatile cutting angles.
2.4 Battery Installation and Charging
Insert a fully charged 4000mAh battery into the battery slot until it clicks into place. To charge, connect the charger to the battery and a power outlet. The battery features overload protection and temperature control.

Figure 2.4: The 4000mAh battery provides approximately 50 minutes of continuous use and includes multiple safety protections.
2.5 Chain Lubrication
Before each use, fill the 50ml oil reservoir with appropriate chain lubricant. The chainsaw features an automatic lubrication system. Check the oil level regularly during operation.

Figure 2.5: The 2-in-1 design allows for both close-range pruning and extended reach tree trimming.
3. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your RINOXAR chainsaw.
3.1 Starting and Stopping the Chainsaw
- To start, press the safety lock button and then squeeze the trigger simultaneously.
- To stop, release the trigger. The chain will stop immediately.
3.2 Cutting Techniques (Mini Chainsaw Mode)
For optimal performance and safety, use proper cutting techniques.
- Always hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands.
- Start the cut with the bottom of the guide bar, allowing the chain to pull into the wood.
- Avoid cutting with the tip of the guide bar to prevent kickback.
- Make relief cuts for larger branches to prevent pinching the guide bar.

Figure 3.2: The 8-inch cutting surface allows for efficient cutting of branches and small logs.
3.3 Cutting Techniques (Pole Saw Mode)
When using the telescopic pole, ensure stability and maintain a safe distance from the cutting area.
- Extend the pole to the desired length and secure the clamps.
- Position yourself safely away from falling branches.
- Use the 180-degree rotating head to achieve the best cutting angle.
- Allow the saw to do the work; do not force it through the branch.

Figure 3.3: The pole saw allows for safe trimming of high branches, with a chain speed of 13m/s.
4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your chainsaw.
4.1 Chain Tensioning
Proper chain tension is crucial for safe and efficient cutting. A loose chain can derail, and a too-tight chain can cause excessive wear.
- Loosen the side cover retaining knob slightly.
- Turn the chain tensioning screw to adjust the tension. The chain should be snug against the guide bar but still able to be pulled freely by hand.
- Retighten the retaining knob firmly.
4.2 Chain Sharpening and Replacement
A sharp chain cuts efficiently and safely. Replace dull or damaged chains promptly.
- Sharpen the chain regularly using a suitable round file or a professional sharpening service.
- Replace the chain when teeth are worn down, damaged, or if sharpening no longer improves cutting performance.
- The RINOXAR chain is deep-hardened for smoother cutting and increased wear resistance.
4.3 Cleaning and Storage
- After each use, clean the chainsaw body, guide bar, and chain to remove sawdust and debris. Use the provided cleaning brush.
- Store the chainsaw in a dry, secure location, out of reach of children.
- Remove the battery before storing for extended periods.
4.4 Battery Care
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place.
- Do not expose batteries to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.
- Charge batteries fully before storage and periodically during long storage periods to maintain battery health.
5. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your chainsaw.
5.1 Chainsaw Not Starting
- Check Battery: Ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly inserted.
- Safety Lock: Confirm that the safety lock button is pressed simultaneously with the trigger.
- Connections: For pole saw mode, ensure the chainsaw head is securely connected to the pole.
5.2 Chain Not Moving or Moving Slowly
- Chain Tension: Check if the chain tension is too tight. Adjust as per the Maintenance section.
- Obstruction: Inspect the guide bar and chain for any debris or obstructions.
- Dull Chain: A dull chain can cause poor performance. Sharpen or replace the chain.
5.3 Excessive Vibration or Noise
- Loose Components: Check all nuts, bolts, and the side cover for tightness.
- Damaged Chain/Guide Bar: Inspect the chain and guide bar for damage or wear. Replace if necessary.
- Chain Tension: Incorrect chain tension can also cause vibration.
