1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, setup, and operation of your SICSOLINK Y24 5MP POE IP Security Camera. 3. Setup

3.1 Power and Network Connection

The SICSOLINK Y24 camera supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) for simplified installation, allowing both power and data transmission through a single Ethernet cable. Alternatively, it can be powered by a DC12V power adapter (included).

  • PoE Connection: Connect the camera to a PoE switch or PoE NVR using an Ethernet cable. Ensure your PoE device supports the Onvif protocol.
  • DC12V Power Adapter: If not using PoE, connect the camera to the included DC12V power adapter and then to your network via an Ethernet cable.

3.2 Connecting PoE Cameras to PoE NVR

3.3 Mobile App Setup (SeeEasy)

To access and control your camera remotely, download and set up the "SeeEasy" mobile application.

  1. Download the App: Scan the QR code provided in the instructions or search for "SeeEasy" in your device's app store (Google Play or Apple App Store).
  2. Create Account: Open the SeeEasy app and create a new account using your email address.
  3. Add Device: Tap the icon (usually a "+" or camera icon) to add a new device. Scan the QR code on the camera or its packaging to link it to your account. Ensure the camera is powered on before attempting to connect.

4. Operation

4.1 Pan and Tilt Control

The SICSOLINK Y24 camera offers a 355° horizontal pan and 90° vertical tilt, providing extensive coverage. You can remotely adjust the camera angle using the SeeEasy app on your mobile phone.

4.2 Night Vision Modes

The camera features both full-color night vision and traditional infrared black & white night vision. It has built-in infrared LEDs and floodlights. When motion is detected in low light, the floodlights can activate for full-color viewing.

  • Full Color Night Vision: Floodlights activate upon motion detection in darkness.
  • Infrared Night Vision: Traditional black and white viewing in low light.
  • Double Light Alert: Combines both for enhanced security.

You can switch between these modes via the mobile app.

4.3 AI Human Detection and Auto Tracking

The camera is equipped with AI human detection and auto-tracking technology. You can define specific detection areas and adjust sensitivity to minimize false alarms. When a person enters the monitored area, the camera will automatically track them and send real-time alerts to your mobile phone. Note: The camera tracks only one target at a time and does not support vehicle detection.

4.4 Two-Way Audio

4.5 Recording and Storage

The camera supports 24/7 continuous recording and allows for easy playback via the mobile app. It has an SD card slot that supports up to a 128GB micro SD card (card not included). For more extensive storage, the camera can be connected to an NVR system.

4.6 Multi-User Sharing

You can easily share access to your IP camera with family members by scanning a shared QR code through the SeeEasy app. This allows multiple users to view the live feed and recordings.

5. Maintenance

The SICSOLINK Y24 camera is IP66 waterproof, designed to withstand various weather conditions and operate stably in temperatures ranging from -4°F to 140°F (-20°C to 60°C).

  • Regular Cleaning: Periodically clean the camera lens with a soft, damp cloth to ensure clear image quality. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Firmware Updates: Check the SeeEasy app regularly for firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No Video Feed:
    • Ensure the camera is properly powered (PoE or DC12V adapter).
    • Check network cable connections to the camera, router, or NVR.
    • Verify your network connection is stable.
    • Restart the camera and your network equipment.
  • Cannot Connect to App:
    • Ensure your mobile device has a stable internet connection.
    • Verify the camera is powered on and connected to the network.
    • Confirm you have the latest version of the SeeEasy app.

  • Poor Image Quality:
