Operating Instructions
Writing and Drawing
- 0.5mm, 0.7mm, 0.9mm Pencils: These pencils are ideal for precise lines, detailed work, and fine writing.
- 2.0mm Pencils: Suitable for sketching, shading, and broader strokes. The visible hardness window on the 2.0mm pencils allows for quick identification of the lead grade (e.g., 6B, 4B, 2B, HB, 2H, 4H).
Eraser Usage
- Kneaded Eraser: This malleable eraser is perfect for lifting graphite, creating highlights, and cleaning smudges without leaving residue. It can be shaped to target specific areas.
- Gum Eraser: Soft and flexible, the gum eraser is effective for erasing larger areas and is gentle on delicate paper surfaces.
- 4B Eraser: A firmer eraser designed for targeted erasing and achieving clean, sharp edges.
- Eraser Refills: These are for the built-in erasers found in the mechanical pencils, providing convenient small-area corrections.

Maintenance
Lead Replacement
When a lead runs low or breaks, follow the "Loading Lead" instructions for the specific pencil size to replace it with a new refill.
Eraser Refill Replacement
For pencils with built-in erasers, gently pull out the used eraser and insert a new eraser refill into the opening. Ensure it fits snugly.
Cleaning
Periodically wipe down the pencil bodies with a soft, dry cloth to remove any dust or graphite residue. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these may damage the finish.
Storage
Always store all pencils, leads, and erasers in the provided sturdy case when not in use. This helps prevent damage, loss, and keeps your supplies organized.
Troubleshooting
Lead Not Advancing
- Check if the lead in the pencil is too short; replace it if necessary.
- Ensure the lead is correctly inserted and not jammed. For 2.0mm pencils, verify that the clutch mechanism fully opens and closes when the button is pressed and released.
Lead Breakage
- Avoid applying excessive pressure while writing or drawing.
- Ensure the lead is not extended too far from the pencil tip.
- Verify that the correct lead size is being used for the specific pencil.
