4. Setup

4.1 Inserting a Micro SD Card

The D2 MP3 player requires a Micro SD card for storage. Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the device. Gently insert the Micro SD card until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted correctly to avoid damage.

4.2 Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge the device. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the MP3 player's charging port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button located on the side of the device to turn it on or off. A short press will turn the screen on/off.

5.2 Basic Navigation

Use the touch screen to navigate through menus and select functions. The physical buttons on the side control volume and power.

5.3 Music Playback

From the main menu, select 'Music'. You can browse your music by song, artist, album, or playlist. Use the on-screen controls to play, pause, skip tracks, and adjust volume.

5.4 FM Radio

To use the FM Radio function, ensure wired headphones are connected to the 3.5mm audio port, as they act as the antenna. Select 'FM' from the main menu to access radio functions.

5.5 Voice Recorder

Select 'Recorder' from the main menu to start a voice recording. The device has a built-in microphone for capturing audio.

5.6 Other Functions

The device also includes a pedometer to record exercise time, a stopwatch, a calendar, and a picture viewer. Access these functions directly from the main menu.

6. Connecting to Bluetooth Devices

The woolynew D2 MP3 Player features Bluetooth 5.2 for connecting to wireless headphones or speakers.

  1. Ensure your Bluetooth headphones or speaker are in pairing mode.
  2. On the MP3 player, select 'Bluetooth' from the main menu.
  3. The player will scan for available Bluetooth devices.
  4. Select your device from the list to pair.
  5. Once paired, audio will stream wirelessly to your connected device.

7. File Management (Transferring Music)

To transfer music and other files to your MP3 player, connect it to a computer using the provided USB cable.

  1. Connect the MP3 player to your computer using the USB data cable.
  2. The player will appear as a removable drive on your computer.
  3. Open the drive and drag-and-drop your desired audio files (MP3/OGG/FLAC/AC-LC/WMA/WAV/APE) into the player's storage.
  4. For easier organization, it is recommended to prefix song titles with letters (A-B-C) or numbers (0001-0002-...) to ensure proper sorting.
  5. Safely eject the device from your computer once file transfer is complete.

8. Charging

The D2 MP3 player has a built-in long-lasting battery. It takes approximately 1.5 hours to fully charge the device. Once fully charged, you can enjoy extended periods of music playback.

9. Maintenance

  • Keep the device dry. Moisture can damage internal components.

10. Troubleshooting

10.1 Player Does Not Turn On

  • Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the player to a power source and try again.
  • Press and hold the power button for a few seconds to ensure it's not just a short press.

10.2 No Sound

  • Check the volume level on the device and any connected Bluetooth headphones/speakers.
  • Ensure headphones are properly plugged into the 3.5mm jack if using wired audio.
