2. Setup

2.1 Initial Charging

  1. Connect the parent unit to a power outlet using its dedicated power adapter. Charge the parent unit for at least 7 hours before first use to ensure optimal battery performance.
  2. Connect the baby unit (camera) to a power outlet using its dedicated power adapter. The baby unit requires continuous power to operate.

2.2 Camera Placement

Place the baby unit (camera) in a location that provides a clear view of your baby. Ensure it is at least 3 feet (1 meter) away from the baby to prevent entanglement with the power cord. The camera can be placed on a flat surface or mounted on a wall.

2.3 Pairing (Pre-paired from Factory)

The parent unit and baby unit are pre-paired at the factory. Simply power on both units, and they should connect automatically. If connection issues occur, refer to the Troubleshooting section.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Power On/Off

  • Parent Unit: Press and hold the Power button until the screen turns on/off.
  • Baby Unit: Connect to power; it will automatically turn on. Disconnect from power to turn off.

3.2 Monitor Controls

  • Volume: Use the dedicated volume buttons on the parent unit to adjust the listening level.
  • Brightness: Access the menu to adjust screen brightness.
  • Menu Navigation: Use the directional pad and 'OK' button to navigate through settings.

3.3 Remote Pan, Tilt, and Zoom

From the parent unit, you can remotely adjust the camera's viewing angle.

  • Use the directional pad on the parent unit to pan (move horizontally up to 318°) and tilt (move vertically up to 120°) the camera.
  • Press the zoom button to activate 2x digital zoom for a closer view.

3.4 Two-Way Talk

Press and hold the microphone button on the parent unit to speak. Your voice will be transmitted through the baby unit's speaker. Release the button to listen.

3.5 VOX Mode (Voice Operated Exchange)

VOX mode conserves battery by turning off the screen when no sound is detected. The screen will automatically activate when sound above a set threshold is detected.

  • Activate VOX mode through the parent unit's menu.
  • Adjust the VOX sensitivity level to suit your environment.

3.6 Lullabies

Select from eight pre-programmed lullabies in the menu to play through the baby unit's speaker.

3.7 Temperature Monitoring

The baby unit continuously monitors the room temperature. The reading is displayed on the parent unit. You can set temperature alerts in the menu.

3.8 Feeding Timer

Set reminders for feeding times through the parent unit's menu. An alarm will sound when the set time is reached.

3.9 Night Vision

The baby unit automatically activates infrared night vision in low light conditions, providing a clear black and white image on the parent unit without disturbing your baby.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

  • Wipe the surfaces of both units with a dry, soft, lint-free cloth.
  • Do not use cleaning sprays or liquid cleaners.

4.2 Battery Care

  • To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the parent unit's battery frequently.
  • Store the parent unit in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
