3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Remove any protective films, stickers, or packaging materials from the appliance.
  3. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.

3.2 Initial Cleaning

Before first use, clean all removable parts that will come into contact with food.

  • Wash the reversible plates, air fryer basket, 5.6L pot, and glass lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
  • Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

3.3 Placement

  • Place the GOURMAX PRO on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
  • Ensure there is adequate space (at least 15 cm) around the appliance for proper air circulation.
  • Do not place the appliance near flammable materials or under wall cabinets that are not heat-resistant.
  • Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

The GOURMAX PRO features two independent cooking zones, allowing you to prepare two different dishes simultaneously. The appliance can be controlled via its touch panel or remote control.

4.1 General Operation

  1. Power On: Plug in the appliance. The display will illuminate. Press the Power button to turn on.
  2. Select Zone: Use the zone selection buttons to choose which cooking zone you wish to configure (Left or Right).
  3. Select Function: Choose from the available cooking functions (Air Fry, Roast, Bake, Grill, Plancha, Pot, etc.) using the dedicated buttons or dial.

4.2.1 Air Fryer & Oven

Utilize the air fryer basket for healthy, crispy results with up to 95% less oil. The oven function is perfect for roasting meats, fish, baking desserts, or dehydrating ingredients. The 360° convection technology ensures even cooking and significant energy savings (up to 85% compared to traditional ovens).

  • Insert the air fryer basket into the designated zone.
  • Select 'Air Fry' or 'Oven' mode.
  • Adjust temperature and time as needed.
  • For roasting, use the temperature probe to monitor internal food temperature.

4.2.2 Plancha & Grill

The two reversible plates allow you to switch between plancha (flat surface) and grill (ridged surface) cooking. With an XXL cooking surface and 180° opening capability, you can cook large quantities or different items simultaneously.

  • Place the desired reversible plate(s) into the cooking zones.
  • Select 'Plancha' or 'Grill' mode.
  • Preheat the plates to the desired temperature.
  • Cook main courses and side dishes simultaneously.

4.2.3 Grill Press

The Grill Press function features a floating thermal plate and double heat source for quick and even cooking of paninis, sandwiches, and burgers. The auto-adjustable height accommodates various food thicknesses.

  • Close the grill press lid over the cooking zone.
  • Select 'Grill Press' mode.
  • Place food between the plates and close the lid.
  • The double heat source ensures fast and thorough cooking.

4.2.4 Pot (Marmite)

The 5.6-liter pot with a glass lid is ideal for preparing delicious stews, slow-cooked meals, rice, pasta, and more. Its large capacity is suitable for families.

  • Place the 5.6L pot into one of the cooking zones.
  • Select 'Pot' or 'Slow Cook' mode.
  • Add ingredients and cover with the glass lid.
  • Use the other zone for a complementary dish, such as grilling.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your GOURMAX PRO appliance. Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

5.1 Daily Cleaning

  • Removable Parts: The reversible plates, air fryer basket, and 5.6L pot are made of aluminum with a Teflon non-stick coating and are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash them with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  • Glass Lid: Wash with warm, soapy water and dry.
  • Temperature Probe: Wipe the probe with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the entire probe or its cable in water.

5.2 Exterior Cleaning

  • Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
  • Ensure no water enters the control panel or electrical components.
