Setup Instructions

1. Unfolding the Tripod

1. Hold the main body of the selfie stick.
2. Gently pull the bottom part downwards to extend the tripod legs.
3. Ensure the three legs are fully spread out to form a stable base on a flat surface. The reinforced tripod design with non-slip silicone pads provides enhanced stability.

2. Attaching Your Device

1. For Smartphones: Extend the phone holder clamps and securely place your smartphone within the adjustable grip. The holder supports phones from 6.6 cm to 9.1 cm in width.
2. For Cameras/Action Cams/Webcams: The top of the selfie stick features a standard 1/4" screw mount. Attach your compatible camera, action camera, or webcam by screwing it onto this mount.

3. Pairing the Wireless Remote Control

1. Locate the detachable remote control.
2. Turn on the remote control (usually by pressing and holding a button until an indicator light flashes).
3. On your smartphone, go to Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
4. Select "VIPsy" (or similar name) from the list of available devices to pair. The indicator light on the remote will stop flashing once successfully paired.
5. The remote control is compatible with iOS (5.1+) and Android (4.4+) smartphones.

Operating Instructions

1. Adjusting Height and Angle

1. Extending the Rod: Pull the telescopic rod upwards to extend it to your desired height, up to 180 cm. Ensure each section is securely locked in place.
2. Rotating the Phone Holder: The phone holder can be rotated 360° horizontally to switch between portrait and landscape orientations.
3. Tilting the Device: Adjust the tilt angle of your device up to 90° vertically using the ball head mechanism to achieve the perfect shot.

2. Using the Wireless Remote

1. Once paired, open your smartphone's camera application.
2. Press the button on the remote control to trigger the camera shutter for photos or to start/stop video recording.
3. The remote allows you to capture content from a distance of up to 10 meters (33 feet).

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the tripod and selfie stick with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Storage: When not in use, fold the device to its compact size and store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: The remote control uses a Lithium-ion battery. If storing for an extended period, ensure the battery is partially charged.

Troubleshooting

• Remote Control Not Connecting:
  • Ensure the remote control is turned on and has sufficient battery.

• Telescopic Rod Not Extending/Retracting Smoothly:

  • Ensure you are pulling/pushing directly along the axis of the rod.
