Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to set up your MHJKHG Wireless Doorbell System:
1. Install Battery in Push Button (Transmitter)
Each doorbell push button requires one 12V, 23A battery (not included). To install:
- Gently open the back cover of the push button.
- Insert the 12V, 23A battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the back cover securely.
2. Plug in Receiver (Chime Unit)
Plug the receiver into a standard electrical outlet in your desired location. Ensure it is within range of the push buttons and not obstructed by large metal objects or thick walls, which can reduce signal strength.
3. Mount Push Button (Transmitter)
You have two options for mounting the push button:
- Using Double-sided Adhesive Tape:
- Clean the mounting surface thoroughly to ensure it is dry and free of dust or grease.
- Peel off one side of the protective film from the double-sided adhesive tape and attach it to the back of the doorbell button.
- Peel off the other side of the film and firmly press the doorbell button onto the desired location for at least 30 seconds.
- Using Screws:
- Open the back cover of the push button.
- Mark the positions for the screw holes on your desired mounting surface.
- Drill pilot holes if necessary.
- Secure the back cover to the wall using the provided screws.

- The receiver can distinguish between different doorbell button signals, allowing it to emit various ringtones to help identify visitor locations.
4. Power-Off Memory Function
The receiver features a power-off memory function. This means that your selected ringtone and volume level will be saved even if the receiver is unplugged or loses power.
5. LED Indicator
The receiver has an LED indicator that flashes when the doorbell rings. This feature is beneficial for individuals with hearing loss or in noisy environments.

Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your doorbell system, consider the following maintenance tips:
- Battery Replacement: When the push button's LED indicator no longer lights up or the signal range decreases significantly, it's time to replace the 12V, 23A battery.
- Cleaning: Wipe the doorbell buttons and receiver with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Waterproof Protection: While the push buttons are IP44 waterproof, protecting them from direct, prolonged exposure to heavy rain or submersion will extend their lifespan.
- Operating Environment: Ensure the doorbell buttons operate within the specified temperature range of -4°F to 140°F (-20°C to 60°C).
